That's a good idea. The bottom is the worst of it. Thank you!
Aluminum foil can work too.
Yesterday NaNoWriMo sent me a code for a 40% discount on NaNo merchandise (they sell t-shirts, mugs, posters, books with basic writing tips, etc.). So I treated myself to the current year's Camp NaNoWriMo poster, last year's mug, and a couple of t-shirts. I decided to skip the books, as I've got better how-to books already, that are specifically geared to the genres I write in.
5 days later the problem is fixed.
The drugstore by me has caffeine-free Coke Zero. No sugar, no caffeine... at this point I’m just drinking brown water.
Is it fizzy at least?
Yes, but not terribly so which is one reason that I chose it.
It's got fake sugar in it, doesn't it?
I had to give up regular pop for the diet varieties, but I'd never go caffeine-free.
Yeah, Coke Zero is noticeably flatter than a normal Coke. Like a room-temp Pepsi.
The first and only time I went to a hockey game it was because my dad won a competition when Coke Zero was debuting, and they sponsored the home opener of the Leafs. Two tickets and a chance at an interview. We were only in the background of one, though. At the time I had never had a Coke outside of illness (my parents' cure for a bad stomach was Coca-Cola and saltines with jam), only lemon-lime or other fruit flavours, so I thought it was pretty good. Then I had an actual Coke. Now I don't think it's so good.
Still better than Diet.
Should be "Leaves" Leafs is just wrong.
The couch I ordered is arriving today but the rocking chair to go with it has been delayed until next month.
Recent purchase: Won ton soup, steamed veggies, pork dumplings with hot sauce, and egg foo yung. Because of wet carpets, lots of fans going to dry the wet carpets, windows having to be open to help dry the wet carpets and keep the humidity down in here, plus cold, rainy nights... I've developed a cough, sneezes, and sniffles (and have to keep explaining to people that it's not covid).
Therefore, won ton soup. There's a restaurant here in town that's family-owned and they make great soup and dumplings. That's my go-to when I'm coughing, sneezing, and sniffling.
Some test strips for my father (he's diabetic) and some Colgate mouthwash for myself.
Jay and Silent Bob: The Reboot. on bluray.
An extended reach cordless hedge trimmer.
Going for the DIY haircut after 6 months?
My barber is open. Got a cut about 3 weeks ago.
The rocking chair I ordered that was subsequently delayed has finally arrived. It's nice to sit on something without massive holes in it, stains and worn-out cushioning.
I bet it rocks your world.
Milwaukee 18v hackzall, I'm gonna wear it out on tree and bush removal once the leaves fall
My wife took over my desk for her work, so I dismantled and threw out my standing desk made out of stacked cardboard boxes and bought an actual standing desk. To give us some sound isolation while we work, I had to put my new desk in the bedroom and there was only one little table that I could mount it on and it turned out that it's just a couple of inches too short.
So now I've got this fancy standing desk.... and I had to put a couple of cardboard boxes on it to lift my keyboard and mouse to the correct height.
Sigh. I've only got to deal with it for a few more months though, after the baby is born we're moving to a bigger apartment and I'll get a proper table/stand to mount the desk on at the correct height.
