Glock 43 (9mm subcompact pistol) this weekend. Just ordered an inside-the-waistband holster for it last night, for concealed carry.

@Synobun Welcome of CFC OT. Please familiarize yourself with our posting rules to avoid any future problems. And just so you know, discussing or even mentioning "Old Spice" is only allowed if you have certified with the staff that you are over 55. Thanks. :)

I was recently told by someone that they thought I was well into being middle-aged, so I seem safe from any punitive ageism.

The new new clothes are too small. :( I hate buying clothes.

Wait, the new new clothes are big and baggy again. Just wait a year for it to trickle up in age. Should last a while if the previous cycle lengths are to be trusted.

I got sick of t-shirts either being too wide or too short so I just ordered a 3 pack of t-shirts from a place that caters to tall lean fellows like myself. A bit pricey but if they fit nicely it'll be worth it.

Starting at 6 pm. And 4°C. And wearing gloves was unfortunately not an option for the fiddly bits -- which was most of them -- so it took another half hour (plus a large mug of tea) to thaw out afterwards.

I can see the core of the problem right away. Mugs of tea are insufficient - you need a barrel of coffee or a bucket for starters.
For the gloves issue the cycling gloves are awesome or biathlon gloves even better if your fingertips are the main issue. Nothing prevents from making the latter from regular gloves but that's a labourous effort (very much depending of one's wife unit's willingness to cooperate) for good ones and quick solution may not be a lasting one.
I'm become a cycling glove enthusiast after (re-)founding roller skating (with sticks) as form of exercise & transport. Those are great while running errands around the house & yard as there's no real need to remove them for much of anything apart from cooking.

I bought a new harpoon. Got a good deal too. More smaller and sleeker than my old one, which I've now sold. We'll see how much actions it'll see but at least it's in my inventory now.

You can use it against the Russian navy!

Even though I look like a whale please don't harpoon me!
