Should Civilization have natural disasters?

Sounds awful. Imagine getting Factory 2 of 3 for your ideology up, only to have a tornado come in and level it.

The random factor of goody huts is one thing, but I'm generally okay with that as they're a reward for player prioritizing early scouting. On average they'll all benefit the Civ that finds them in some way (Barb camps notwithstanding).

To me, this is a strategy game first and foremost. If they were included as an option, that option would always be off in my games and I imagine there's a lot of people who'd do the same. Imagine the rage factor of losing a Wonder race by a turn or two... because a Tsunami wiped out your factory and workshop. Or worse yet, losing a close space race.
