should I be putting citizens to work my buildings??

I missed where this thread was focused on CV.
I am more focused on learning on how to shave turns off of my finish times which are currently around 190-240.
I don't mind going domination or like you say if I am going CV I need to focus on 10 cities and archers are good enough.

I wasn't saying that you should build EDs all over the place I was trying to figure out what order it should be in the build assignment.
It sounds to me like you are saying you can build the Colosseum in an Expo and make the ED a first build for that city.
I was thinking if it is in the Capital the ED must come as the 3rd district.

I just rolled a random game that I played up to turn 5 and I rolled China.
Not sure who is in the game because it is all Random.
Pangaea Map
Standard/Standard Settings.

I am going to post it up in that thread about Culture Victory Strategies.
I settled on the grass 1 hex to the SE to save the tree and get more stone.
I found a Relic on Turn 5 from a hut.
I wasn't paying attention so you might get the Relic on turn 3 actually.
I am going to post the turn 1 and 5 save files.
I was thinking this could be a good spot for Salted Fish or what did you call it... Theater Thrash?
There is a desert tile so I think you can get Pyramids.
I'll take a screenshot and post it here and put the save files on the other thread.

My bad, apologies

Hopefully you have no mods...It's a pretty crap start, interesting as a possible great Zim city but I would move down and to the right one so the desert is closer and you get off the wood which can be chopped and gives a 2/2 tile to help the nice spices(shame they are not on the river) Builder and mining is what I would start with. Not sure what difficulty you are on.

I rarely play anything but Deity...
This game is Deity as well.

I posted it up on the Culture Victory Thread.
That is where I moved the settler as I stated in a post.
I usually roll crap starts... I think many players buff the settings to roll better ones :)

For some reason I got distracted and moved my warrior to the west.
Picked up the Hut on Turn 5 instead of 3 like I should have.
Found a Relic.
Saved the Game to come to Civfanatics to re-study Salted Fish/Theater Thrash.

Looking forward to more analysis.
