should i get warlord expanion pack

hi my new to civ 4. i only have demo civ 4 and civ rev. i am getting civ 4 and bts soon. should i get warlords. i heard bts gives all the stuff warlords does. is that true? (except scenarios) are the scenarios good? barbarians! look fun. any help

While I did think the Barbarians scenario was fun, I wouldn't buy Warlords just for it. I played it one entire time, and haven't felt the overwhelming need to do it again. I might someday soon, because it's a neat concept and was executed well.

If you're aching for scenarios, then go ahead and get it for that.

If you can find it for like $10, it might be worth snapping up if all you want is the one scenario.

Get Warlords if you don't like some stuff that are in BtS and want to play without them sometimes. Then again you wouldn't think that way because you wouldn't have played several months of Warlords before getting BtS.

Go for BtS, skip Warlords.

Unless you really want the Warlords scenarios, there isn't much point in getting it. All the main game stuff is included in BtS (which contains plenty of scenarios of its own).
