Being forum elite is a combination of things. Post count being one of them. People like FredLC and Birdjaguar can transend it because they are very intelligent. Higher postcount means you et more face time means your chances of being forum elite improve dramatically.

You've just FAILED to define the prerequisites of becoming forum elite, proving my point. IT doesn't exist.

I am sorry but you brought up this ill defined concept, so I thought you had a pretty good idea of its prerequisites. You obviously don't have, you are just babbling. Now you expext me to accept its existance. Not a chance

I like your nick, Perfection, if by perfect you mean perfectly stupid and illogic.

It's not that a definition couldn't be made, rather it seems to be a mutually agreed upon set of nubulous concepts that would be long and convuluted to put into a single succinct post (Much like the definition of a species in biology). Most of the people who spend a large amount of time in OT understand what I am talking about. Unfortunately it appears that you don't.
Birdjaguar sort of adresses it here.

Oh, I'm Perfectly stupid and illogical. The perfect amounts of stupidity and illogicalness being, of course, zero.

I just want the definition of the concept. Even after I read it that won't change the fact that, I believe that few users outside the forum elite recognize or care about its existance.

The posts are HUGE, he basically wrote that entire page by himself. I will read it soon.

I am really glad that a flame war has been avoided. :ar15:

Status here is not confired by a set standard. It is gifted to specific people by the members. Most of those with high pc have earned a position of status. Many who do not have a high pc have earned such a position also. Gothmog, Taliesin, Betazed are three that come immediately to mind, but there are many others. You want to call such posters elite, but that is really a misnomer. Those posters are just respected for what they contribute to this place. All communities identify members that seem to have the preferred and shared values of the community. At CFC OT those values would include: regular posting, topical knowledge, wit, playfulness, willingness to recognize others, agrument construction skills and probably most important: an established forum personality. Females who post regularly automatically get status and its their's to lose. Guys have to earn it.

Yes, Perfection is skilled at controlling the pace of posting and preventing or encouraging escalation. It is one of the skills of those who are respected here.

As a matter of fact, something perfectly beautiful is not ugly, it's in fact flawlessly beautiful. ;)

Argument from ignorance here. Just because he doesn't have a definition doesn't mean one doesn't exist. (I would argue it doesn't even mean he doesn't in some way know the definition; surely you've known things that you were unable to articulate.)
