Should we trade Monarchy?

I know I am not in the trade department, but doing some research of my own, we could be able to trade Monarchy to the Zulu's and get WM, 21g (not all their gold) and Construction. Then we could trade Construction (or Monarchy) to the French and get Literature, CoL, WM and all their gold, which is 57. Or is Monarchy off limits too any trade. This would leave us with only three techs to go for: Currency, Philosophy, and the Republic. I would like to hear discussion about this.
