Sidar Master of Mana Xtended

I've looked all over the civlopedia and I cant for the life of me figure out how to get Shades with the Sidar. I can see the "XP for shades" indicator but i have no idea how to fill it. Please help ^^!

It is a global enchantment spell, you need mana and appropriate xp.
