Here is my attempt to release a slower working speed.
It's an intermediate between Epic and Marathon, using 199 multiplier instead of 150 for Epic (Thanks Piglet The Brave for the research on this).

It seems to be working fine, but I couldn't finish a game yet, I can't play that much.

Just extract inside \AppData\Local\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VII\Mods

I've just installed your mod (thank you) - it's nice to have the slower game speed as a separate setting in the game rather than modifying the default settings all the time.

And thanks for the credit. :)
 
what are the changes? any modifications to production like a historic speed?
The multiplier affects everything related to speed. From Production, science, culture, to Age Progression. It seems there's no way to sepparate things.
The idea of the mod is to be able to play on a slower speed other than Epic, until Marathon get's fixed.

Age progression is the same as vanilla yes. This mod changes the game speed, but it maintains the same age progression behaviour as vanilla, it just scales with the speed.

You can check for example your first turn, the amount of science/culture required:
- Epic: 8/13
- EpicPlus: 19/20
- Marathon: 25/26

The age progression should feel the same. I did actually play 2 games with the mod and it feels correct. In standard you can finish eras with just enough time. In long you finish eras with almost all the golden ages.
