That's right, FREE!

Click here. At Best Buy you can buy it for $10, then mail in a $10 rebate, making the total cost $0.00 (Well, you still have to pay tax, and then shipping if you're not buying it from the store. Still dirt cheap.)

Heck, even if you don't have SimCity4 (which is required for this expansion), if you have the time you should head over to the store and get the game, and if nothing else, sell it for a nice profit. Okay, okay, you probably have better things to do, but this is still a GREAT game. It's easily worth $10, probably worth $25, and certainly worth $0. Why?:

-Easier. Many people bought SC4 and were impressed with it, but were just too frustrated with the near-impossibility of running a profit and building a managable city. But now there's 3 difficulty levels, the highest being the one that came with the original game, and then two easier ones. The difficulty level affects how much money you start with, how easy it is to make a profit, and a few other things that aren't as noticeable.

-Transportation Ah yes, the entire point of this expansion pack. Not only adds spice and realism to your transportation network but some extra features make it more fluid and manageable than before.

-U-Drive It The main feature of this xpack. I didn't expect much out of this; after all, giving you rewards for completing missions that rely on finger dexterity instead of strategy completely breaks away from the calm, almost boring, SimCity charm. But it's pretty fun, and a nice break from the stress of planning a city. If you don't like it you can always just ignore it.

-Extra goodies A few nice additions here and there, such as a new set of buildings (called "European contemporary"), raising the number of sets from three to four.

I bought this game not expecting much, mostly just thinking, "Eh, it'll cost me less than a dollar. What's the harm?" But I was pleasantly surprised. It renewed my interest in SimCity. I doubt you'll like it as much, but it's worth a purchase. If you don't wanna take my word for it, here's the Gamespot review.

SC4 wasn't hard. After 3 years I can run a profit without the bases and bad stuff that hurts your mayor rating....Took a few BAD cities to get it though. My biggest in 110000 people. Can't remember the profit though.

My best one now is over 120,000 people in 40 years....but I'm almost out of land. :( Make a few thousand a month though.

Just went to the best buy website and it lists for $19.99 before the $10.00 rebate.

Hmm, the sale must have just ended. Well, sorry 'bout that... :undecide:

GRRR, I paid £20 for "Rush Hour" and I've not had much time to play it...

I have loved having all those new transportation solutions however, but I want more, I want round-abouts!!! :D
