simple question - how do I take things off the trade table

Simple but I can't see how to do this..? There surely must be a way? Surely?

So you're in a peace negotiation. The AI presents the offer. I want to change what's being offered. I can left click on items in the AI's list below the offer box. These items will then appear in the offer box.

But how the heck do I take things out off that offer box. Take out lump sum gold, or a city, or gpt. I've tried right clicking, left clicking. I just can't see how it's done.

Just to be clear I'm talking about trying to remove items from the offer table. I can add items. But I can't remove them

Can anyone help?

Right click on the item you want to remove.

@Sascha77 - Are you sure? As I stated in the OP "I've tried right clicking" on the item and nothing happened. I will try it again-maybe I'm missing something obvious, I often am. Or my game is bugged or there is something more to it than only "right-clicking"?

Right Click At It. You can't Right Click the "Make Peace" item.

The UI is very clunky as well as the game's performance (the processor take a second to execute your actions)
