Simple Suggestion for customization (maps, disasters, etc.)

I've been playing Civ since the original Civ came out. I was one of those who praised the map custom config when it was added. It stayed in the versions until now. This is no longer feeling like a Civ game. The lack of features that have been standard for a long time is horrible. Add in the larger size maps. Add in the customization for maps.

The "light" version of disasters is ridiculous. I see multiple disasters every turn with it set on light, and the more advanced you get compared to the NPCs, the more likely at least one of those is against you. I had one civ that had one river. it flooded every other turn.

The NPC Civs flip on a moment's notice. I just had 2 friendly NPCs suddenly go to war with me, and the one that was mad at me started a war 5 turns later. It seems strange that my friends suddenly attacked me, but the enemy waited. Also, where is the mutual war option in diplomacy?

This game feels half-done. Too much is missing from the old Civ games to make me believe it is polished. The first "DLC" is out now and that almost feels like a tragic joke, not a serious effort.

Have to say that good customisation is what makes these games replayable. It's all well and good having tons of choices for Civ's but if the game plays the same then nothing changes...

Once the environment changes a lot (eg. From continents to dry + islands to wet + pangea, etc.) then the plans have to change and choices which were previously bad become useful
