Single player Hot Seat for better challenge

Do you rage-quit when someone forward-settles you?

Would it be weird if I said yes?

But no...

Though in fairness I typically have a weird pattern of settling Cities within 3 tiles of each other, though my new ruleset of having ambitions will slowly start to override that.

It's a bit tedious for me, I've never actually finished a game this way. Useful for getting some achievements though. You have to consider your games are going to be at least twice as long.

They ruined Civ 6 hotseat for me with those pop-up screens between turns. The pop-ups totally block all of the AI action so you have no idea what units moved or did something. It’s a big disappointment.

Civ 5 hotseat didn’t have this issue, so I hope Civ 7 hotseat doesn’t either.

Yes! This is horrible and it needs to go.

What do you mean? Civ 5 also hat a pop-up screen between turns (the one that let you know which player was about to take their turn)

The only change was that when the "last" player finishes their turn, you see that "screen", which, I admit is annoying, but only for the last player, if you're not the last player then it's not too bad.

What Civ 6 did worse than Civ 5 did was getting rid of 80% of notifications such as population change, border growth, great person recruitment, religion and pantheon founding, religion spreading, friendship and denoucement declarations, etc.
