I'm happy to gain EP, but think that the UU price is just fine where it is. Military improvements need to be expensive.

To the extent I can speak for TLK, the NES is neither dead nor hibernating. The past week and a half or so has not been a good time to get work done on the update, based off my conversations with TLK about it, and while it has progressed slowly it is nearly(?) finished.

    Everyone be patient and stuff.

As LoE said, this is a bad time for me, with all of my friends coming back from school, and working increased hours because of the holidays. While I am still active on the NES boards, my ability to commit time and energy to sit down and logical sift through what remains to be updated as been lacking. All of that, mixed with some bad writers block and confusion has led to snails-pace effort being made on the update. But effort is being made!

    Hello all!

I've been reading through this and it looks really interesting! I'm thinking about jumping in as Canada. I've never participated in an nes before though.

Glad you could join us! This was my first NES, too (though I'm now in, like, five). Good choice; our GM's super helpful, ask him any question and he has a ready answer. Good luck!

And Canada's liable to be a pretty quiet place. If you're ever looking for more excitement, drop by my neck o' the woods (I'm Crimea, PS). Or, if you're SUPER adventurous, try a Chinese faction.

Canada's going to be pretty quiet, I'd Imagine... Though, it'd be interesting to have someone there.

I doubt quiet, with the rise of Quebecois nationalism right smack to the east.

From what I've seen, Quebec ain't had a lot to do with Canada since they split. They soom to just be minding their own respective businesses - though TLK or thomas could probably set the record straight.

I think Canada would be pretty bitter. But it could easily be quiet too.

That's pretty much it. There's been a bit of discussion, non-aggression treaties, the lot... but not much. You could probably do what you want with Canada.

Alright, thanks for the info! I'll send a PM to TLK with some questions and go from there.

While I'm sure this is going to get a whole lot of "yeah rights", I assure you this isn't dead, or even on hiatus, I am just struggling to find the mental will to continue on with the update, from where I have it. For fear of not wanting to post a terrible update, I am waiting for a decent time for me to sit down, collect my thoughts, and logically finish what is left. There is a chance that tomorrow is that day.
