Welcome to General Poindexters Policy Analysis Market.

We have several constants defining the odds.
The election of Consul for Resources and Technology, SAAM, has created the incentive for a quick route via philosophy to either Literature, Map Making or Code of Laws, possibly Republic.

I, the House, will nominate ten Policy Analysis Market bets, and I want all the registered players to rank them in the preferred order. The most attractive bet would get 10 points and the least attractive would get 1 point each.
The top three attractive bets will be subject to a betting round prior to events leading to the outcome to be revealed.

6. Which Government will Fanatannia change to first
7. Which Fanatannian city will reach size 10 first
8. Which Fanatannian city will first be connected to a luxury
9. Will Fanatannia develop Iron Working or Wheel first?
10. Players nomination of gamble, will be added to the list if picked as top three, and The House will run a run-off poll on all player-nominated gambles.

The players are free to bet as much as they want on the winner three bets, and odds will be calculated based on relative stakes betting against each other.

A question about bet #9: Does "develop" include finding the tech in a barb hut? That could influence the betting (as well as making it a much more risky bet).

However, a goody hut will impact what is researched.

As you see this is a fair unbiased game where market info is equally acessible, odds are known etc. Even the terms for bargaining, betting and gambling are all written and presented in a fair and transparent manner, so mediation and arbitration is based on the ruleset alone with the gameworld as a randomizer.
