Skipping the intro movie

What did setting "NoMovies = 1" do? If that doesn't affect the intro movie, you can bypass it by pressing ESC for example.

Nomovies=1 will turn off the intro movie, but it will also turn off the wonder movies and victory movies.

I happen to quite like the wonder movies. Is there no way to turn off the intro movie and keep the wonder movie?

Surely this must be such an obvious thing to want. I can't believe that there isn't an option for it.

No. Just press a key or click the mouse to skip the intro. I doubt there will be such a option in any of the future patches.

copy content of .zip to the game folder

Thanks for that. It works fine, but it seems you have to replace the original files (after renaming them of course). It didn't want to work in the custom assets folder.

I wonder if there isn't some command line option. The game doesn't replay the movies when it re-launches as you load a mod.

yes in deed, it must replace the original ones...
