So I offered a large collection of Civ II and Civ 6 smilies I recently made in Site: https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/smilies-offer.667944/
-and TF expressed interest.

And @Takhisis sorta asked for facepalm and bow.
facepalm.gif
<- This he got right away.

@Gori mentioned rimshot and got
rimshot.gif
, which I've since improved to
rimshot2.gif
.

-And I finally thought of how to make taking a bow work. This is how we did it in the renfairs:
bow.gif
.

So any requests?

I'm taking it as a creative challenge to try to keep these really small - x15 to x20 where feasible -which it wasn't quite for bow and the first version of rimshot, both x21-. Wide is more doable, as it can still be used in a sentence w/o breaking the line spacing.

Of course I just make the things, and have no say in installation. I leave it to the members to @Thunderfall and all that. But there's some fun to be had, and taking requests keeps me in little projects when I feel like it. Naturally, everything has to meet CFC decency standards and so on. -And you may have to talk me into it.

...I think I'll eventually post my tutorial series on hand-drawing a tiny animated .gif in GIMP...

-So any requests?

Thanks, these are cool. Could the rimshot guy have a high-hat next to him and hit that as his third stroke?

Wow, you're something. I just came here to erase my post, hoping you hadn't seen it yet, since it seemed ungrateful of me.

I'll look forward to what you do. And I'll use this smilie all the time, whatever form it takes.

It's a better smilie now, which is part of the point. It's slightly larger filesize than the last -the cymbal and the extra 12 pixels width didn't take NO memory- but three frames shorter -the cymbal tap was an easier movement to animate- and still smaller than the first try. And it's just more dynamic this way, and x20 tall.

...I'm installing all three of these requests at AC2...

The first part of the kamikaze animation from Worms came to mind, when he's putting on the red head band.

Probably more inspiration to be found in that game, Cannon Fodder, Lemmings, Sensible Soccer etc... OMG, where is Guybrush Threepwood?

Wax on, wax off? Paint the fence, sand the floor? Incomiiiiing!

I'm only familiar with that last, and not very then.

What I was trying to say with the list of Amiga games that I grew up with in a time when computer resources was limited and heros few, is that I enjoy pixel art (as well as compact documentation and programming code) and that your talent to express human feelings should be put to use on the kamikaze worm and Guybrush Threepwood. Wax on, wax off too.

I'll go watch South Park - Assburger now.

These are great, Buster's Uncle. Thanks for the extra effort.

Mods, you gotta add these to our options!

Over the years, I've asked for a smiley with a coxcomb (fool's cap; no special animation needed), a raise-the-roof smiley, a tongue-in-cheek smiley (probably too minute to do).

(Seeing as how you've welcomed requests . . . )

Dunce cap and raise-the-roof sound feasible. Added to my to-do list. -I think I can see how to make tongue-in-cheek work at a small size, too.

I've been looking at an old Site thread Takhisis pointed me out - and so far, I've customized
RetardedWookie.gif
awesome.gif
and
penguin.png
out of things people posted. None of them want to be any smaller. -And someone said 'samurai playing the banjo', and --- here:
SamuriBanjo.gif

-There's a tutorial in the works on exactly how I went about creating that last from scratch....

See, you like my challenges.

I love it! Man, I can't wait to use these. Mods, you MUST add them to our collection!
