Spider, a tree of sorts and a sea monster?
Spidersilk and a dragon?
The monster is monster of Loch Ness?
It's Scotland I think. There's a story about Robert the Bruce supposedly having learned perseverance by watching a spider spinning its web in a cave.
ETA: fixed link
Is that a baobab? I cannot recognize the tree
A great leader perseveres time and time again? Sounds like shaka. He comes back every civ game, after all.
Edit: Okay, nevermind at the sea monster.
ok so not William Wallace ... few we dodged a bullet there
This is the coyest yet.
Robert the Bruce and the Spider:
Hooray for google.
(Add that to Loch Ness and only the tree is missing).
Also, since the leak was about Civilopedia entries (the leaker translated those IIRC) it makes sense William Wallace would be mentioned in an entry about Robert the Bruce.
the monster jumping out and waving his arms makes me laugh way more than it should.
i searched for "loch ness monster medieval" on google image search and that popped up first:
It's Robert the Bruce. Everything is falling into place .
Excellent timing for Robbie Burns Day!
One of the first hits when typing in spider and scotland
I guessed Scotland. I'm SO clever.
Well, The Loch Ness is obviously Scotland
Robert the Bruce and the Spider
Connected to Chile?
