Since they start with a newcomer, I guess this newcomer has stunningly interesting abilities. Otherwise the „no Ottomans/Maya/Inca/Babylon/PNG/Walnuts“-whining will be huge

My grandfather is from Hungary, so for me I'm glad to see this country present in a personal point of view. But I think I would've prefer another First Look tomorrow.

Well considering all 8 new Civs have already leaked I can have a 1-pixel hint and still 12,5% chance before the first reveal

I didn't either I just googled "Castle Corvinius" and that's what came up

This may just be my lack of knowledge on Hungarian history, but I don't see a natural fit between Hungary and (a) natural disasters, (b) strategic resources, or (c) diplomatic favours.

Therefore, I'm wondering if there's some new mechanic or system change they want to highlight.

Alternatively, perhaps someone has an idea on how Hungary may fit in with one of the new systems we do know about.
