Ok!
SnL-01 was all about spineless diplomacy, had we just gone bud we'd have been ok. Liq could blame silver but meh, we both suck  If you lurkers:confused: want a complete rundown of the heroics silver tried to salvage snl-01, beg silver! He really tried but camels ruled the day.

Err ok nm looks like everything was ok.

So onto..
SnL-02 Spineless Ramen for Great Justice!

The spineless, wet noodle tech-er we all know and love!
Financial for the win. :eekdance:

Love the pretty blue.....second only to Liq's golden brown UI color scheme :twitch:

Monarch again and no silly variants on account we screw our games over just fine, without having to jump though hoops of flaming grease.

Hemispheres script

Spoiler :

8 Civs total so 4x:backstab: per continent
Vassals off, Perm Alliance on. Everything else is standard.

Oh and foremost, using the better bug ai mod over at
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=354019

Since we completely failed at diplomacy last time, no one better to make up for it than this whining pos.

Rolled 5 starts silver narrowed it down but in the end, the irrigated rice won the day...

A pretty strong start to say the least, but we deserve it.

Save below, but keep in mind it's technically a mod.

Cheers!
-Liq

PS. Screen is wrong in the map settings. Had to roll standard sized map because 8 sizes on small was giving 6 fishie starts every time :rotfl:

S.ilver will totally take the :smoke: for SnL-01; should have revolted Bud upon Monty DoWing on Asoka; Sally wasn't red fisted then. Oh well, live and learn!

Wet noodle Wang ftw this time! Start just screams "I have no metal anywhere nearby" but heck, we should be fine with a Pro leader. Basic idea is Agri->Hunting->AH to see if we have any ponies around, and when it turns out we don't, head for BW. And when we don't have any copper, at least we can fall back on archery.

Delays pottery a bit, but I think our workers will have plenty to do demolishing the trees and putting up some basic production infrastructures.

The irrigated corn means at least a half decent city site to the south, so going to check that out.

Fin should mean cottage abuse. Just watch Liq and S.ilver go nuts on the specs now :crazyeye:

4000BC (0):

Settle in place.

Looks like we won another plains hill, and as a bonus, it's blank, so possible shinies. The best part is not needing BW to mine, so one more thing for our worker to eventually do.

Agri is first in 13 turns.

Warrior moves over to pop the hut and we win a scout. Yay, animal fodder. Well, the scout can check out the south while the warrior heads back north.

Scout moves to check out the wheat area. Mostly entombed in jungle, and there are spices there.

Seoul on a warrior because someone is going to inevitably get punked by a bear or something. Also want to grow the town a bit before a worker.

3975BC (1):

Scout discovers that the river Seoul on is the same one the wheat is on, it wraps all the way around in a C shape to the west. Will spam some screens at the end.

3950BC (2):

Warrior is going to swing around east of Seoul to pick up that hut while the scout pokes around east.

3925BC (3):

Just moving stuff, nothing to see here.

3900BC (4):

Find another spice near the corn, up to 3 now.

3875BC (5):

There is a crazy amount of river around us that will leverage our Financial trait, wow. Assuming we can live to IW to cut it all out of the jungle :p.

3850BC (6):

Snooze.

3825BC (7):

Pop the hut to the east of Seoul and get 133 gold. Some volcano money for sure.

BUG says the borders are popping next turn.

Scout sees a hut, and someone's dark green border. Going to grab the hut before investigating.

3800BC (8):

Well looks like someone found us first. Prolly due to the border pop.

Scout goes to pop the hut before Meh notices it.

Whee... tech on Monarch?

No less than FIVE phants near the hut...

3775BC (9):

Saw gold to the NE and the warrior was going to take a look, but ended up blundering into a lion.

Coastline there, hopefully warrior is not dead.

Meh is on the same river as us (technically) and it appears he may be coastal too. Will see in a bit.

3750BC (10):

Epic fight on the savanna, as the Lion attacks our warrior and we get beat down to 0.2 strength, but somehow survive. Whew. That was only worth 1XP, boo. Move the warrior to one of the gold hills and will heal.

Meh is not coastal but there is water right under him.

3725BC (11):

Seoul pops to size 2, move the new citizen to forested plains hill to get that warrior done faster. Need worker.

3700BC (12):

Hitting coastline to the SE as well, so scout may end up catching the warrior who is resting :p.

3675BC (13):

Dial hunting in 8.

A lion appears out of the fog near the scout, so we dodge around him and discover some stone and wheat. There's a little peninsula we miss, but screw that.

Wounded warrior not yet healed, but going to call him back to town to heal because new warrior is done next turn.

3650BC (14):

Warrior done in Seoul, dial an 18 turn worker.

Scout moves on tile and sees a panther, so runs back the other way, lol.

3625BC (15):

Wounded warrior is almost back to heal, whee.

3600BC (16):

Sigh...

More of them???

3575BC (17):

Find zomg marble to the north. Snooze.

3550BC (18):

Find another hut with the scout and pop it.

Are you sure you set the difficulty correctly Liq?

3525BC (19):

Grrr, stupid panther will not go away and insists on blocking the scout. A lot of lousy scouting going on down there.

3500BC (20):

Scout takes a look at someone's blue border from the top of a hill.

3475BC (21):

And someone's archer wanders in.

AH in 15 turns for the handoff.

Both Bull and Sury appear to be in the east.

3450BC (22):

Snooze.

3425BC (23):

Bud is FIADL. Wow, that took a while.

3400BC (24):

And Sury converts to Bud. So that's why it took so long. Guessing no religion hogs in this game.

3375BC (25):

Hmm, maybe Mr. Bull is from elsewhere, as Sury seems to be on the end of a large peninsula.

3350BC (26):

Zzz... dodging the wildlife with the scouts.

3325BC (27):

We move into first place in score, for no apparent reason. Oh Sury prolly dropped in score.

Warrior beats up a lion; well back to 0.2 health again so running for borders.

3300BC (28):

Our scout gets attacked by a lion, down to 0.3 strength, urk. No time to stop though, as we need to turn around because Sury's culture will otherwise block us.

Wounded warrior takes woody 1 and hides in some trees.

3275BC (29):

Cannot seem to locate Mr. Bull, he's probably west. Time to look harder.

3250BC (30):

Blah! Sury borders popped too fast, and our scout is trapped on a peninsula, so just going to delete him. At least he got us 2 techs.

3225BC (31):

Worker next turn, whee!

3200BC (32):

Worker pops as Sitting Bull becomes Sury's worst enemy. Huh?

Set Seoul back to max growth as we dial another warrior.

3175BC (33):

Farming the rice... Seoul has explosive growth potential at small sizes.

3150BC (34):

Sury no longer annoyed with SB... weird, just weird.

3125BC (35):

Dial up BW in 19 for the pass off.

West warrior finally healed and pops a hut, for a map.

Here's a look at what we can see so far.

Okie back at it after pulling snl-01 out of silver's :smoke:

Shaka on the genuine UN Dip Win.. how pathetic is that?:p

Silver might not be much for the kinder gentler aspects of setting up pony rides and fishfarms, but well liq's hammer is akin to a wet noodle as stiff as wang's spine, so we are even.

On another updatish note, it seems people coming back from the nightmare that is civ5, so maybe a return to the boff-0x series of astral disasters. Fear indeed. :run:

Wasn't feeling so great when I pushed this set of whack turns out so please excuse the really boring report.... will try and spruce it up now that the nyquil hit. If you need real entertainment though, Liq would suggest reading the civ5 general section in the interm. Some seriously questionable antics going on there and moronic quotes fit for the ages.

So SnL-02....

We have 3 other AI's to deal with on this continent... So lets cover them in liq's twisted vision.

Meh of the Awesome Beard and all around Well Dressed Chap is a good guy to have around actually. He likes likes to build troops and is definitely not someone you want on your bad side. The good news though is he's 100% reliable at pleased and pretty easy to get there. To get him to pleased, he gives a hefty bonus for adopting vassalage and an equally large bonus for same religion. Not a hard guy to get along with at all. You just want his hate focused on someone else.

Alienboy from the planet Zoltron is a rather odd fish... part time backstabber as you'll need friendly to get him to never dow on you but he's more a wonder whore than a military guy. Not someone to be overly worried about but you can seldom be completely secure with. His civic is organized religion which nets him a lot of good will, and religion is an even bigger bonus so friendly might be possible.

Sitting Bull is the classic lighting rod / monty counter. Warmongers really hate hate him right off for multiple reasons, making his habit of building lots of protective archery units a great AI trait to have. If there's any of the many many war mongers like monty around, they will generally beat their head against him all game long. He's really not easy to get along with as his minor civic dip bonus cookie is environmentalism and religion isn;t so important to him on the plus side. Good news is that he's very unlikely to attack at cautious and he's at the high end of peace disposition, so most other 'sane' leaders don't like him much. meh and alienboy are a pair of those 'sane' leaders by the by.

None of these guys are tech whores (outside of us) so might have trouble trading tech before astronomy when we get to the other island. None are warmongers either but all get worked up on religion, so overall war will largely be determined by the faith looks like, with sb demanding random crap always and forever til the plains cows come home.

Dots dot dot what dots liq?

So in proper Boff-0x's tainted tradition, yellow dot is reserved for those in-their-face land grab towns we always seem to bandy about (red is hammers hopefully)...

So yellow... (Green is meh!)

Lot of jungle and only got worse as more jungle grew in my turn set. First and foremost, yellow is about land denial, and for that purpose, the town is near perfect.

Mitigating the "omg jungle" aspect though, the good news about this pit are several fold:

1. The town isn't a billion miles from capital and has 3 spices, phants, and corn. Though we are settling on one of the three spices, that's perfectly fine as the others aren't worth placing a plantation on and are going to be cottaged.

2. The town could easily become an insane cottage town, whereupon only 4 of it's tiles are not riverside. Yellow is connected to the master river as well for fresh water and a perma trade connect to half our part of the continent. The bfc is comprised completely of grassland (once the jungles are cleared) and has decent (not too many) hills. Seems like a good wall street town though ultimately looks lie we might not have a ton of jungle clearing to do elsewhere, allowing more workers to get this town on its feet that much sooner.

3. It has its non-irrigated corn tile on the north side, away from the opposition's culture and towards our capital. Oh, and it's not jungled hehe.

4. The opposition is a 'sane' meh and not one of the normal morons we get like Toku or monty and nary a culture whore like Rammy or alien boy. Meh's capital is also an ideal 5ish tiles away and not even on the same axis, so good news there.

5. There are ugly mountains/jungle to the west and to the east is a ton of jungle pain (and not much else). All told, all that trash really kills the area in terms of Meh encircling the town before it can jack up its own culture. Once yellow gets on its feet, it's going to really be a power house.

The town is going to suck short term no doubt, limping along for a while, but making sure meh doesn't go north is worth it. Damned jungle growth, this town needs to really make 3-4 dedicated workers itself, solely to clear the place out and do nothing else. Could be Oxford, Could be Wall street, hell, it could be a state property running IW if we want to wait that long.

Entertainment for this round of WHACK is operation North West

Let's see if there's more than desert tundra peaks and a clam there...not expecting much to be honest.

[1-3]3100-3050 BC
hmm I really like what I'm seeing first turns into the NW... will scout some more.

Not going to get SE warrior trapped behind Khmer borders exploring down south east, so going to head back to fog bust a bit near where we might place another marginal blocking town ultimately known as whitish dot.

NW is looking good though so maybe enough to fit another town up here, meaning we might be able to forgo dumpster diving whitish dot or marginal Inital value.

[4]3025 BC
la la la la la WHACK.

[5]3000 BC
The warrior in the NW nails woods2 as he beats off an amphibious wolf attack.. er don;t ask. Stan (the man) it is!

So far the marble gets some good food, a river and a lot of plains it can brute force cottages on :)

[6-7]2975-2975 BC
Stan is Dodging those evil lions left right and right some more! Go Stan Go!

[8]2925 BC
NW looking even better-er!

[9]2900 BC
Warrior finishes in cap and need to grow some more so another in uh a few turns hehe. Send him off to block dot.

NW keeps looking better-er and better-er-er

[10]2875 BC
Man, even better with 3 additional er's! each turn reveals another big food tile.

[11]2850 BC
Ok, this NW area is officially 4x 'er' amazing. Critical amounts of 'er' going on here.

[12]2825 BC
Finally scouted the NW, take a look

Had no idea the area north of the desert was going to be this good. Screw trailer trashing the SE, we have lots more room up here for 3 more really nice towns, none of which have jungle!

[13]2800 BC
Pigs hooked up and time to farm the sugar for now as I wait on BW to come in.

[14]2775 BC
Still amazed about all those fishies and piggies and corn, oh my. Did I mention corn... and piggies... and uh more corn.. oh and uh coastal fishies?

Random inconsequential noise from whoever.

Reminds me that I set up 4 more civs out there though, so not completely useless fluffy crap!

[15]2750 BC
Warrior finishes onto a settler that will be chop assisted when BW comes in. garrison warrior in town since the last one is near yellow already and gonna grow to cap soon.

SB converts to slavery. A bit early.

[16]2725 BC
hmm Stan escapes a lion without being attacked... lion knows he'd get punked. Head stan SW to bust that great unknown and eventually maybe find SB since he's not in the NW.

[17]2700 BC
Stan being chased now after saying that, run for the hills n forests stan!

yeah gotta liven this report somehow.

[18]2675 BC
Ha!

Stan runs from that last lion into another. Fight Stan Fight!

[19]2650 BC

BW comes in get to chopping a plains hill and no slavery yet.

Copper in monty dot, making that town even better...

A close up of two important towns to be, Monty and Capac Dots. Neither is hammer heavy and HC dot screams cottage cheese. Maybe oxford town as yellow would get levi action for wall street. Monty would have screamed gp farm but man, the fishie pig corn grass (and not much else) monster in the NW is perhaps even better since it doesn;t have much else to do once it grows into cottages. Maybe we can use 2 gp farms, maybe we can use more cottages, maybe we'll lack hammers all game and rely on rush buy? Maybe liq needs to move on?

Red dot one can barely see in the NW is our sad excuse for a hammer town looks like, will dot map at the end and finalise colors then =p but looks like there's not gonna be a sick Santiago type hammer town from hell (of izzy wizzy boff-05 (in)fame(y)) on this run.... nor a damacus, and no sign of a muscat, not with 3 effing tundra tiles.

The bug bfc looks and works great in game but blows for screens. Not gonna make you, our imagined audience, suffer bug bfc's for the OCD driven dot map spam. No sir, No fear!!! Well, so long as liq recalls some serious photoshop fu.

Slot in archery in 9ish though since we need the defense sooner rather than later and ponys/copper not getting hooked up soon. Oh an not to mention we are protective anyway... sigh. you know this map would be perfect for lizzy, 2 gp farms and a turntable.. er massed cottages + gold!

Stan beats off that evil lion and limps towards the safety of the hilly forest nearby. Stan not a happy camper on open plains but lots of massed jungle to the south looks like so he should have fun dodging the barbs.

[20]2625 BC
Still no barbs but gonna be soon.

[21]2600 BC
Stan healed, go go Stan, jungle sup close by, run for it.

[22]2575 BC
Wow, Hinduism is founded finally ROFL. Other continent...well that rules out about half the ai's .

[23]2550 BC
meh and alien boy both go slavery same turn.

[24]2525 BC
Chop comes in for settler so good to go soon.

[25]2500 BC
Settler out the door, slot in a warrior so capital can grow to happy cap.

[26]2475 BC
See our first baby barbs...

aww he's so cute, let's call him Sid.

[27]2450 BC
Barb warrior is scared of Stan and runs screaming like the little sissy barb he is.

[28]2425 BC
Big turn!

Archery comes in woo.. slot pottery. Iw soon.

Our pigs get porked by termites...

great, worker has enough to do... omg worker needs name? wtf??? how could you have forgotten silver?

And...

We plop down pingpong and eff, 2 jungles spawned north in the meantime

The town is so sick, it really is sick. Computer suggested we settle 2 north ... Stupid computer.

A good place to end the set sooooo.....

The Dot Map!!!!!!! drool.

So the idea here before nw was discovered to be silly crazy food from pig fishie corn heaven was that the white and (eventually grey) dot would be a super marginal land grab. Grey would be much later actually and whiteish isn't horrible other than no big food and jungle. Never mind though, the north west is more than anyone could reasonably dream of outside of hof scumming.... er nm.

With the NW well able to add 3 more thriving towns, white and grey are obsolete, let the AI clear that jungle for us. Capital will be on the main line but it's on a hill and we are protective so not a huge issue. Doubt this game is going to see much war anyway. Uh huh. *looks askance at S.ilver*

Kinda hard to see in that picture but the river capital is on literally forms a huge inverted 'U' connecting an awesome meh town to be, whiteishdot, izzydot, capital, hc dot, and yellow dot (pingpong!), even making outlet to the southern coast next to mehs awesome 'town he better take'.

So anyway, every one of the colored dots is worthy of getting settled outside of maybe TundraTeal dot and Willy (orange) dot... and to be honest Willy(orange) dot is a better town than some of the locations silver and liq were forced to found as our third city...... I mean ponys and fishies, two great tastes the kiddies always Clam-mor for! groan. Bottom line is going to be a while before we can afford all those towns

So yeah need more workers and everything else... settle izzy monty and hc dot in whatever order bemuses you. Can play 30ish again as I can see these being boring turns til we get rifles..

Oh ultimate tech path is definitely going to be Rush buy kremlin as our hammers are near non-existent and cottages legion.

Stan is heading SW and if SB isn;t there, he got shafted hard by the rng. One of those 6 fishie tundra starts.

Cheers!
-Liq

PS save is using a mod called Better Bug AI. bug bull and better ai wrapped up in one easy exe, no major game play changes other than less moronic AI's. If you cannot open it, I linked the mod in first post and it really is a painless install.

Whee! I need to find my old dotmap preset tool for Photoshop... or I'll just beg Liq for the one he made, because the hollow dots are cooler

Spent way too long discussing teh dots that Liq spammed on the map. So obvious plan after copper popping in Monty Dot (heh) is to make a front consisting of Yellow Dot, the cap, and Izzy Dot (gold + minor floods). Only real powerhouse production sites that seem obvious are the capital (lots of hills) and red dot (on account of we wouldn't have named it red dot if it had no potential!). Should be good enough to push military production to the frontlines if Sury settles in our general area. Hopefully Meh goes somewhere else now with Yellow Dot in his face.

So gonna take the turns with Pottery -> IW, on account of Pingpong being totally gimped until we can do some serious worker abuse there (not like we have a lack of work elsewhere... sigh...). See how many more towns we can spam while abusing Fin once pottery comes around...

Doubt this game is going to see much war anyway. Uh huh. *looks askance at S.ilver*

. I haven't done anything yet! Besides, we don't have any totally unreasonable fools around us, and they'll probably peg on SB anyways due to the peacenick mod.

Ok both been busy but so mini catchup. Handed save to silver and he hogged* 30ish boring turns. Izzydot, pottery, IW and writing was metted out promptly as it was a lot of Quality Whack! a Liq would assume. Odd though the report lags like hell

So Liq got the save and bam! wtfomgbbq on meh for the super early rush.

About that time Liq, fully admitting being the most worthless :smoke:monger this side of Gandhi with marble and stone in his bfc said "hep!!!" and just told S.ilver, "keep the save and play 40 more!"

The questions are..

1. Since this is Better AI will even S.ilver, the Hammer of Maxwell survive?

2. Will the report come for this 70 turn "wtf, no tanks yet!?" BC edition hammer fest before civ5 is playable or after?

3. No Civ5 bashing here!

The Infraliq drools at the thought of all those corn fishie piggie sites in the meantime. Oh and not to forget Pony Rides and Clam-cicles for the Kiddies!

Cheers!
-SissyLiq

*There is no such thing as turn hogging in an SnL. This isn;t some sort of ack or boff-0 where we have to pretend other people are playing too!

Well, Liq says "Play moar turns!" but I figured I better get this posted before folks get too bored (like anyone is actually looking at this ). Quality whack enter for this part for sure, only 10 screens of boring whack enter. I told Liq he should have hogged the infrabuilding turns :crazyeye:

2425BC (63):

Preflight check. Well this merged mod of wtfever it was (don't even remember, Liq sent me the installer) shows the hidden dip mods due to stuff like Warmonger vs Peacenick, and we can already see that Sury and Meh have -4 mods on SB due to this. Joy. Don't have to look up an obscure XML table made by one of the lesser Civ Gods around here...

So set Pingpong to stagnant by working the jungle hill... hell, it doesn't matter if I just left the citizen as a +1 hammer spec. This place is totally unhealthy until we can get some worker abuse going, so going to try and get that monument up faster, rather that popping a 3-food costing 2nd citizen immediately.

Not much else we can do on account of still needing more stuff in general everywhere. But whatever, it's turn 63, 'tis to be expected .

Fix my error from earlier and rename the worker to Wang's "Opulence". Liq says we need to have a different naming convention for Wang's workers :p.

2400BC (64):

Finish off the mine at Seoul and get it worked for more lovely hammers (and an extra commerce, whee).

Stan quickly finds the end of the jungle, gonna look around a bit more before posting a map or anything. Yay for saving screens. Oh, but I did find another corn, and as usual it isn't irrigated :p. That makes 5 unirrigated corns we've found on this map so far, for anyone who's crazy enough to keep track :p. Only irrigated one is the one in Sury's BFC, wtf...

2375BC (65):

Snooze... start moving the worker back to the pigs to fix the damage >.<.

Get the east warrior moving towards Sury on account of he's there to find out where the guy is settling... He moves 1 tile and runs into Sury culture. Probably Sury city 1S of the wheat... Of course, Sury is Creative, so depending on how old the city is... hmm...

Well, looks like Izzy dot will be next after all... Going to take a close look then head towards Izzy.

2350BC (66):

Culture is wierd there, so not sure when Sury put this town down, maybe it popped borders already?

Actually going to have Chagrin chop out the plainshill forest for teh hammers. The new worker will work on the pigs once it's done. Need settlers...

Find 2 more gold and some more floods to the SW. Also looks like Meh settled SW.

2325BC (67):

Move closer to Meh's new town with Stan. It appears he failed to put it on the river, wtf?

2300BC (68):

Well, did some scouting around Sury, so pulling back towards Izzy dot location with the east warrior. He'll guard the new town so we can get it up faster.

2275BC (69):

Snooze. Oh hey, whatever this mod is, it informs you 1 turn before a chop happens. Nice.

2250BC (70):

IWing dialed in a slow 21 turns, sigh...

Notice that Meh and Sury have finally met, and they get a hidden dip bonus... Great... Should have seen that coming with them not liking SB.

2225BC (71):

Wang's "Corpulence" pops out and we get moving on a 12 turn settler. Gah, must hurry. Overflow from the chop goes into the settler, yay. Corpulence moves to rebuild the Pigs for Wang's buffets.

2200BC (72):

Lots of desert in the SW too. The difference is a river but no resources :p.

2175BC (73):

We are 0.6 in power to... Sitting Bull... huh. I guess Liq was right about protective archery spam. Still 0.9 to both Sury and Meh though...

2150BC (74):

Seoul gets a border pop next turn but a barb archer is making it's way from the south. Sigh, gonna lose some worker turns for sure...

2125BC (75):

Seoul pops borders and the barb archer walks off, whew.

Oh, and Stonehenge was BIAFL.

Crap, S.ilver clicked the wrong icon in the top corner and closed Civ instead of minimizing, sigh... well, load the 2200BC autosave and do everything the same...

Find yet more unirrigated corn to the far south on a small peninsula.

2100BC (76):

Mine and pasture both finish this turn. Move work off the floods and onto the two better tiles and shave 2 turns off the settler (7 to 5 turns).

2075BC (77):

Gonna waste 3 worker turns on each worker to get 2 pieces of road laid in Pingpong's general direction. Also don't want to burn repeated moves on the hills.

Wow, Meh has a spot for a 3 food city in the south as well. Pigs, Corn and Fish on the peninsula.

2050BC (78):

Looks like we're going to need to move fast to seal in Meh, as he doesn't have a lot of land down there...

2025BC (79):

Roads finish as we drop to last place in score, heh...

2000BC (80):

Gonna actually get Pingpong a road link so when borders pop we can get all those resources shared. Seoul only needs more mines now to throttle it's growth.

1975BC (81):

The settler pops out of Seoul, and we're going to take a quick break from throttling the town to build an archer.

Settler heads to Izzy Dot.

1950BC (82):

On the return trip, Stan blunders into a barb archer.

Sigh... This may be the last of Stan :(.

1925BC (83):

And Stan bites the dust :(. We'll miss you Stan.

Wonsan is founded on Izzy Dot.

Immediately dial up a monument and get working the floods. Workers will be along shortly to farm them (because we will need food here...).

1900BC (84):

Nothing at all happens this turn... snooze.

1875BC (85):

Archer finishes as we dial up a worker to take the chop. 4 turns now.

Pingpong is now hooked up to the cap and is getting 2 extra health, so get it growing in 17 turns seeing as the monument finishes next turn anyways.

1850BC (86):

Great Wall finishes somewhere, and from the large graphic popup, that would be Sury-land...

Pingpong's monument finishes and we get on a forever granary. Start laying down some cottages here.

1825BC (87):

Meh spams a town somewhere. Well, Stan is dead, so cannot find that town, sigh...

1800BC (88):

Warrior is heading west to stake out Capac and Monty Dots to make sure Meh isn't punking them.

1775BC (89):

Sitting Bull will trade Fur... I'm more interested in how Sitting Bull has a trade route connection with us...

Wang's "Profusion" pops from Seoul. With that done, I dial a Granary and revolt to Slavery.

1750BC (90):

Back in control, snooze. Seoul looking very whippable next turn.

1725BC (91):

Dial up Writing in 9 turns... I think that was the plan.

We also have iron in the border already... on the blank plains hill NW of Seoul.

Seoul eats a 2 pop whip for the granary.

A look at the south before Stan got punked.

----

Ok, so tried to pass the game off to Liq, and he says play another 10 turns or so... Sigh... ok will play to Writing... Man, I was trying not to turnhog here! :p.

1700BC (92):

Stop the worker building the floodplain cottage (on account of we have enough tiles to work for now) and head towards the iron to hook it up.

With the Granary done, I will stall growth in Seoul a bit with a worker. Gods know we could use more.

1675BC (93):

A forest grows near Seoul. I look. Where? Oh there...

That's actually in Capac Dot's BFC, so more trees to chop for sure.

Start Farming Wonsan's FP so we can get faster whipping out of it.

1650BC (94):

Judaism is FIADL... will know next turn if it's anywhere nearby then I guess...

1625BC (95):

And it was either Sury or no one we know, because nobody converts.

Whip Wonsan's Monument as Sury finally founds his 3rd town.

1600BC (96):

With the Monument done early at Wonsan, we dial a granary to see how much we can get out of this town for now...

1575BC (97):

SB moves to 4 towns >.<. A barb archer sneaks up on our warrior surveying Capac Dot. I am going to choose to run away rather than lose another military unit :p.

1550BC (98):

Wang's "Avarice" pops from Seoul and we dial another archer. Avarice gonna go help at Pingpong.

1525BC (99):

With 3 turns to pop borders in Pingpong, we start on a 3 turn road on Pingpong's corn, which will be in borders after :p.

1500BC (100):

I had to look up the quest to figure out what it does, but it's pretty boring looking... We'll probably end up finishing it just because Libraries are core buildings.

Liq says Maths for empowered chops next is a good idea, so do that.

Notice this little gem too...

Looks like Sid is doing our work for us. Hopefully we can get to that town and pulverize it before Meh does.

1500BC (100):

Preflight check for one's own :smoke:. Open Borders with everyone on account of needing to get Dip bonuses up.

1475BC (101):

We are apparently broke... but not as broke as SB!

Avarice is done the road and the border pops next turn so he can build a farm.

1450BC (102):

Mine finishes on the Iron at Seoul, so get onto it. Archer also finishes. Gonna dial another before looking up a settler.

Pingpong and Seoul both growing next turn, and Wonsan's farm finished, so joy to more whipping.

1425BC (103):

Towns grew so shuffled some population around, things going really slow in the south.

1400BC (104):

Get started on Wonsan's gold mine, snooze...

1375BC (105):

Meh founds Bursa somewhere not in our direction, good. Reminds me we need that settler heading out to Capac dot soonish.

Pingpong finally getting a mine! In 6 or so turns... Snooze.

1350BC (106):

Iron finally hooked up as Seoul pushes out another archer. Move to a quick 6 turn barracks so our metal units coming out aren't totally worthless.

Profusion heads back to do some cottaging now that that junk is out of the way.

Dial science down to 0% to build some cash for the math rush.

Sury wasting hammers on us in a predictable fashion!

Well, yay for religion?

1325BC (107):

ToA is BIAFL, snooze.

Whip the barracks as barbs are incoming from just about everywhere >.<

Our warrior in the west is probably about to get overrun as well.

1300BC (108):

Warrior gets totally punked by the archer... sigh... I had fortified him there a while ago, was hoping he'd win at least one fight...

Seoul's Barracks finishes so push out a 4 turn Sword as we need troops.

Sury drops Bud in Wonsan, yay more culture for a faster border pop. Thanks Sury!

Flip research back to 100% on account of having a bit more cash.

1275BC (109):

Meh get's a slave revolt in his second town, heh...

Pingpong's wheat farm finally done, so getting to work on it.

1250BC (110):

Clear out some barb warriors that are descending on Seoul from the north, have to keep our stuff protected, sigh...

Sury is sending us yet another missionary, OK!

1225BC (111):

Sword pops from Seoul as yet another barb appears north of us. Sigh. Dialing another sword and THEN maybe a settler.

Pingpong's mine is finally online, so working a farm/mine combo at size 2.

1200BC (112):

Sitting Bull spams another town. Up to 5 now. He must have a lot of land wherever he is.

1175BC (113):

I see some barb activity near Pingpong.

Will keep an eye on it, but hopefully they are harassing Meh.

1150BC (114):

All 3 barbs disappear into the fog/die or whatever... Hrm...

1125BC (115):

Pingpong pops to size 3 as it appears Meh is chasing barbs.

1100BC (116):

Crash science back to 0% to build cash... sigh...

Seoul growing next turn and we're ok on Happy Cap becaue Gold and Phants are now hooked up.

1075BC (117):

Pingpong can finally whip it's granary, so do it. Oops. Apparently so can WOnsan and I missed that. Whip again.

Seoul finishes another sword so move finally to an 8 turn settler. The barbs are not bothering us anymore, so gonna try and find some to XP the swords :p.

1050BC (118):

Whipped granaries finish, so dial library in Pingpong. Wonsan gets a Rax, on account of needing somewhere else to build troops.

Turn science back on for Maths in 4.

1025BC (119):

Mehmed converts to Buddhism! No brainer now, eat the 1 turn of Anarchy and follow the bandwagon :D.

1050BC (120):

We are back in control, no worse for wear I think...

975BC (121):

Whip Seoul's settler for 2 pop, so we can get back to building some units!

Wonsan has both farms finished, so get on them to grow faster into the gold mines.

950BC (122):

Oracle is BIAFL...

Sitting Bull also converts to Bud. Lovefest incoming.

Seoul's settler is done, so sending it to hook up with the Archer at Capac dot. Dialing a sword.

925BC (123):

Time to lay off the whip and use a few more chops. Dial up Poly next, as eventual plan is to hit Monarchy. We will try to broker Alpha away from Meh.

900BC (124):

Capac dot becomes Pusan.

It dials a Granary first on account of we want to get it growing faster and culture can wait in this town (which is behind Pingpong).

875BC (125):

Pingpong grows to size 3 and nothing much else happening as we wait on Wonsan to mature...

850BC (126):

Great Lighthouse is BIAFL as some of our towns grow.

We also move to pleased with Sury and SB. Meh still cautious, sigh...

825BC (127):

Flip tech off again for a turn... Appears Meh already has Poly now, boo.

More forests grow near Seoul near no one's BFC in particular... SB drops back to cautious, sigh...

800BC (128):

Sword done at Seoul, gonna start beeing up the workforce. Will work via chops now that maths is in.

775BC (129):

SB lands Alpha. Whee. What's great is he doesn't have Poly and we're only 1 turn from it. Pray!

750BC (130):

Immediately call up SB and do this deal.

Also call up Sury and do this deal on account of him being last place.

Drop the whip on Pingpong's library for more culture because it grew this turn.

Dial up Currency for the extra trade routes and gold to mediate trades.

725BC (131):

Capture Apache, the barb town, after a few turns of whittling it down. Didn't want to go all at once because Sury's stupid Archer was standing by it.

It goes for a monument because there are lots of shinies here, and they're all in the 2nd row.

Pingpong's library is done, dial a barracks on account of units built without are worthless, and no major rush for military at this point in time. We also need time to build up pop before getting more workers here too.

Finally passing the save off to Liq for some quality builder/backfilling time. Of course, Liq is liable to get Red fists popping up at any time on account the game seems to know which one of us is up now O.o.

Preturn:725 BC
Hmmm wtf.. ok well had I known the random number seed is different for each pc I'd have handed back my save, silly aim's transfer system wasn't working though so Silver just keeping his save was much easier.

meh.

Ok well load game and see the classic buddy love fest going on, this time to our advantage.

Well that means the other continent has Jew and Hindu at fairly even %, so lets hope for some nice head bashing going on over there.

Confusion not taken yet so, if by the time we are done with currency, it's still open, I will aim for code... We are going to need to fill out the bottom half of the tech tree ourselves looks like, but I'll look out for trades that way.

Making sure Meh does not get confusion is worth the effort though. SB? sure go ahead get dog piled.

Wonsan is on a rax but I move over to a light house as the town is going to be moving onto the coast soon. Whip anger over next turn and a lighthouse is worth the twice the lashings at half the price.... er whatever liq said.

Notice avarice is cottaging a non spice tile, but he's almost done. Will let him finish that before moving to cottage the remaining spice.

So Monty has 4 turns revolt before the costs sink in, science to 0% for a bit.

Still 4 workers with a 5th getting built... hmmm need a lot more now that we have 5 towns.

[1]700 BC
SB moves to pleased not too sure why though since not much has changed. Need to get Meh there. Hope bud's dip kicks in soon before the rng effs me again.

Can prolly nail currency in 14ish so flip beakers on.

[2]675 BC
Need to close the border between monty dot(Apache) and HC dot (Pusan) so move a monument in front of granary, cannot blame silver on that one actually... :smoke: on both our parts. You know this is ugly, going to need a third pop to really seal the border so going to plunk down marginal dot, the dot that wasn't dot mappedded:confused:

[3]650 BC
God I hate those barb galleys, this one is going to stall Apache a long time.

Like the fancy Halloween themed glow in the dark voodoo skull monty dot? Really picked a bad time to stop sniffing glue.
Actually it's only one fishies, This town has piggies and corn. EFF YOU BARB GALLEY.

Oh joy and now there's meh's red fist just as predicted. Here we go again! Putting in for a 3 turn masonry to get walls going.

Wang's "Gluttony" is born in Seoul from chop and heads west in order to chop Puson's monument. Chop Chop as they say! Give him a proper name on the run over.

Bet you can't do that in civ5!

The overflow goes into a settler, gonna stall that to spit out archers.

Can whip Wonsan's lighthouse so indeed, bodies drop.

a barb archer appears near monty dot for free exp looks like.

[4]625 BC
Chop safely allotted to settler so onto archers.

[5]timewarp BC
Missed this one so let's do the time warp again.

[6]600 BC
Barb archer suicides on the sword in Apache while a barb warrior is approaching the effing unguarded iron . Not going to be able to swing back there fast enough.

[7]575 BC
Masonry comes in, no screen! Blame the barb poised to nuke the iron mine.

Do not have the cash for currency so back to 0%

Iron is so gonna get nuked.

Place walls in pingpong so I can double whip them next turn. yay.

[8]550 BC
Ping pong gets whipped for the walls. Meh is Still .7 strength and Seoul needs to clear out the barb.

Worker will arrive at the iron next turn just after the sword kills it.

[9]525 BC
NOW meh is pleased, effing game hates me hates me hates me... well looking like possible exp if he comes but what a drag building all those archers and whatnot.

Forgot Apache was size 2 to start so I whip its monument and looking like I get to whip Pusan's in 2. This map is so effing food rich and hammer poor, you know only democracy is gonna pry slavery from our cold dead clicking thingies.

[10]500 BC
Catch an ottoman spy in ping pong, not good! So need to make a spy to settle there until I realize, there's no way he can incite a revolt at this stage of the game.

[11]485 BC
Notice Sury has monotheism for trade but wants math for it... I think about it and then think oh + dip is good from not only revolting to organized religion, but also from "fair trade" so I do it.

wtf no fair trade? bah... ok. I hold off on revolting until I pump out more archers for ping pong.
I whip Pusan's monument with overflow going into it's granary.

[12]470 BC
Pusan gets another forest growth.. good deal

pot a barb archer in the north, beelining the iron again, got the sword there waiting...

Turn currency back on.. 8ish

[13]455 BC
Meh is no longer in can has cheesburger mode.. hmmm lets see if it's just a bug and pops up again. He's pleased now though so if it really stalled... hmm will see next turn.

[14]440 BC
Meh still isn't in omgwtfbbq mode so thinking I'm safe, going to garrison ping pong a bit more even though.

[15]425 BC
yeah looks all clear... so going to finish operation,"wtf? there was no dot" dot.

[16]410 BC
Keep baiting barb archer around Seoul with nice juicy workers. Please walk into open ground Mr. Sid.

[17]395 BC
A barb sword appears out of the fog near Apache for free exp.

[18]380 BC
Yup free exp.

Barb archer still in effing Seoul's bfc, need to clear these woods.

[19]365 BC
yay confusion still not taken so I'll save up to blitz an 8ish turn code. Seoul still needs a library so yeah.. get to work on that.

Meh has priesthood and monarchy for our currency and 75 gold... I take it.

oh missing the monarchy screen too! whine moan whine. Not worth reloading the game for a mere mini me tech splash.

I take that opportunity to revolt to organized religion (dip for sury) and hereditary rule, 2 turns anarchy. Can you tell I so want confusion? zzzz.

Yeah and this is why the settler is rushing...

Telling you, those jungle safari pony ride tours for the kiddies are worth any expense!

[20]350 BC
Pay 20 gold to keep Wonsan's food as the place is about to grow.

See another buddy misses from sury, a bit late but this works!

[21]335 BC
Come out of anarchy and economy is doing great.

Haters gonna hate.

[22]320 BC
I love you Sury. He pops the misses in Seoul for organized buddy love. Makes that math rip off all better.

Operation "wtf? there was no dot" dot is due next turn.

[23]305 BC
"wtf? there was no dot" Dot lands. Now I intended this town all along as a filler cottage town that could support at least 5 of it's own grassland cottages AND be able to syphon food off of Monty dot to grow into said tiles fast.

Reason I rushed it now is because well, it's kinda hard to see with wangs weak sauce teal on grasslands but it forms a perfect seal with Apache and Pusan, without a single border pop. So instead of filler , it was nick of time as Meh is dumpster diving the jungle already.. scary.

Barb spear is incoming just as wunder sword arrives to play pretend garrison.

Now that I think about it, that barb galley is nice as it guards the coast for any meh settler bypass attempt. Going to HAVE to start populating the coast as the pony island will let him by pass monty dot for a good long time.

[24]290 BC
Confusion still not taken so maybe 6 turns, gonna be 0 gold left so maybe 7 maybe another hellish event maybe 8.

[25]275 BC
Barb spear veers north... I swap Pusan's archer for Nampos sword then decide they all sit in Nampo on account all the barbs coming form the vacant shaka dot area. Need to plunk a town there sooner rather than later.

Code in 6 still because of the gold mine blowing up... mumble.

Cannot say this was unexpected. Turn slider off a turn.

[26]260 BC
I see Meh building a road to ping bong for me, that much easier to remove the jungle later.

[27]245 BC
A nice event helps us out a ton considering how close to the edge we are in dip.

Makes up for all the other crap antics the rng tosses liq's way. Notice Monty dot's pet barb... please don't feed the Sid

Run into the barb town I spotted to see if I could target practice but ug... no thanks. Bull really demonstrates how having the lesser of bonuses really messes you over.

Notice the archer's total bonus is higher than the swords 55% from cr2 so the totall 55% is merely subtracted from the total bonus the archer gets. That's why the sword is still base 6 str despite all the promotions.

I'll stay here to vulch possibly.

Apache pops its borders which is major considering all of it's resources are in range now.

[28]230 BC
Seoul's library finishes and code in 4, Christianity was discovered, not sure by whom tho. Oh looks like sb did... the loser.

Get on an archer as we need more to defend the north.

[29]215 BC
Hah! 3 turns from forever stalled code and confusion goes to a distant land... if that means confusion isn't here in Meh's hands then mission accomplished. Bud is the one true religion.

A barb axe exps Nampo's archer. Didn't hurt him much and it only has 1/3 exp hehehe..

Sury moves to friendly on account +2 from civics and +6 on religion among peace crap mods... that's very nice. SB is up to +3 on religion for a solid pleased. Meh is the one I'm worried about though that event's +1 helped.

Ping pong is taking away meh's jungle adventure town's only resource away.

[30]200 BC
Need more archers and workers... and settlers and workers.

These towns have food but no hammers so you know what that means....

Whip Nampo's monument into a granary.

[31]185 BC
Pingpong pops BlingBling, the worker who will forever be clearing ping pongs jungles looks like.

Thankfully, seems meh has been systematically roading ping pong's jungle tiles for some unknown reason. there's a gaggle of 3x meh workers roading the ponys too. How very odd.

Whatever, that's less indentured turns for BlingBling!

Hmm, Seems Pusan caught Christianity.. reminds me of a Negtivland song..

[32]170 BC
Finally, a bit late but nice anyway..

Good news is Meh came to take the barb galley away maybe as it chases his workboat. Hmm no screen booo, such a hart warming scene.

So the economy is great and we have currency for emergency cash. Economy is poised to blow up an minute now... wait for it wait for it...zzzzzzzzz

More workers more archers more settlers as we need to get shaka dot in the NW settled so we have a seal on the coast if need be. Red dot is the next logical town.

Bud misses in queue is for ping pong, as the town needs it bad.

Theology is 8ish turns at 100% and well 6ish turns to save up the gold for that.

Theo needs to be next for one VERY IMPORTANT Reason: So meh doesn't pounce us if we get a minus dip mod. Revolt to vassalage asap. oh :smoke: theo is for theo, not vassalage... what a moron.

Turning out to be super boring! Amazed I put the report together before staring off into the distance dreaming of corn fishie piggie rivre grassland heaven. Don't forget to turn on fraps silver!

Cheers!
-Liqzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

PS 90ish turns done between us, waiting on silver's snooze fest report hah. This game is not the most exciting...

Ok so found out near the middle of the set that I had forgotten to turn on FRAPs, and for some reason the bloody in Civ SS feature is busted on my copy. No idea. I was going to spam a ton of screens at the end of the set to make up for it, but honestly these turns were so boring that I didn't feel like throwing screens up showing nothing significant (S.ilver lacks the talent to make the non-events worth reading, unlike Liq :crazyeye:).

Anyways... If you want a synopsis of these 50 turns without reading the bog boring report, it just about goes "Whack enter, whack enter, whip, whip, whack enter, etc...". Repeat ad nauseum as the lovefest on our continent continues...

For the long version, read on....

170BC (162):

Preflight check. Well our military is teh suck, good thing everyone loves us. No DoWs are anywhere near in the cards. The best thing that could happen is SB revolting to Christ so the other two beat down on him.

Anyways, plan is to get Theo for a chopped AP. If that succeeds, we'll look into landing the other religious wonders.

Liq has Wonsan stagnanted as the town is at the happy cap due to whip anger. I play with it and get it to grow right as the anger fades. Good to go.

Everything else looks ok for now. We want commerce to land Theo ASAP, then we'll worry about other issues.

155BC (163):

SB gets the prarie dog event, snooze.

140BC (164):

The missionary building in Seoul just became rendundant, as the all important Pingpong gets a free Bud spread.

Notice Meh landed Theo this turn, obviously not trading. Great. Someone also landed a GE this turn...

125BC (165):

I get a big popup for the AP vote, LMAO. Ok well... I vote for Meh for +dip with him.

Looks like it was a SB AP... Not the biggest problem in the world because it's still a Buddhist AP, so we'll get the hammer bonus. That and now we can get to actually building stuff.

With Seoul's Missionary done, dial a Bud temple for the Happy + Hammers. Win win. Yes, we'll get on workers after. Missionary headed for Apache now that Pingpong has been taken care of.

Missed the whip on Apache's Granary last turn, do it now...

110BC (166):

Apache's whipped granary comes online, and it's totally empty due to my horrible timing, lol.

Meh will finally deal with Theo...

(missing screen of some trade)

We advance the age and I dial up Metal Casting as no one has it yet. We basically need everything it enables.

95BC (167):

Absolutely nothing... snooze.

80BC (168):

We get a worthless spread of Christ in Nampo, great.

Wonsan's library finishes and we dial a Bud Temple. It grows next turn so we can start running a token spec.

65BC (169):

Spread Bud in Apache for more culture, woo...

Wonsan grows and stagnates by running a token Scientist spec, snooze. Alright, 50 turns too long on a GP. Hire 2 by moving work off a gold mine for one in 25.

50BC (170):

Meh spams another worthless town somewhere... Eeek.

35BC (171):

Seoul finishes off the Bud Temple, yay. Get moving on some workers.

20BC (172):

Oi, peaceful games are so boring... Nothing happening at all.

5BC (173):

Sury shows up and demands Monarchy. In the interests of keeping him friendly and in no chance of attacking zone, I give it to him.

Meh captures the barb town in the south this turn.

Wang's "Extravagance" pops from Seoul this turn, snooze. Dial for a 5 turn settler.

Drop the whip on Pingpong's forever market.

10AD (174):

Pingpong's whipped market comes in and dial a temple.

25AD (175):

Nothing... Oh there is a barb boat bothering Wonsan, too bad there's no seafood for it to bother :p.

40AD (176):

SB finally gets Med. So do this deal with him.

(missing screen of another trade)

We force him out of Rep as well for probable hits to his tech rate.

55AD (177):

A freaking barb sword is incoming at Izzy Dot, we only have a warrior there. Redirect a sword, and gonna have to waste some hammers building an Axe.

70AD (178):

(metalcasting)

Dial up Paper.

A popup comes up that Sury has Calendar. Ooh.

(missing screen of Sury calendar trade)

The barb sword is headed for the mine, so roll the dice on a 50% chance and win, whew! Wonsan would have been toast otherwise.

85AD (179):

The included shot is from like 415AD, when I finally figured out I failed to load FRAPs >.<

(missing screen green dot)

The barbs are following our dotmap >.<

100AD (180):

Great Library is BIAFL, snooze. Sitting Bull again...

Red Dot is Cheju. Granary first.

(missing screen of red dot founding)

Substitute picture of red dot after the fact.

Apache's Ligthouse is done, and I realize it was probably smoke. We need courts bad, so dial one.

115AD (181):

Two towns grow. Check on them to make sure they're ok... Oh, one of them is Pusan. Whip it.

130AD (182):

SoZ is BIAFL. Sitting Bull AGAIN! Ok, this guy is wonder spamming.

Second settler done in Seoul, think that's enough for now so dial a worker.

Pusan's Library that was whipped finishes. Gonna go for a forge before courts.

145AD (183):

AP vote up again, vote for Meh.

160AD (184):

Meh wins the AP and we finally get a +2 "You voted for us" with him.

Wang's "Greed" pops from Seoul. Seoul gets on a Forge.

Gah, missed the whip on Nampo's granary. Do it now.

175AD (185):

The copper mine at Apache blows up, so we spend some cash to keep it. Enough work to do. That does set paper back by a few turns.

Wonsan's Bud Temple finishes and we get on courts.

Nampo's granary also done. Need courts.

190AD (186):

A barb warrior shows up south of Apache. Great. Will keep an eye on it I guess.

Pingpong's Bud Temple finishes, put it on a courthouse. Hopefully we can whip it soon.

205AD (187):

3 courthouses come up as Whippable this turn. Apache, Wonsan, and Pingpong. Whip Pingpong and Apache.

The barb warrior tries to go after the corn, and gets punked.

Found Hyang.

(missing Screen)

'nother susbstitute screen showing where Tao ends up btw... :/

Our economy takes another major hit, but getting more towns up.

Visgoth still size 1, so cannot take it out.

220AD (188):

Pingpong dials a Bud monastery now that costs are under control.

Apache gets on a Trireme so it can protect it's fish.

235AD (189):

Whip watch on alert as towns are growing next turn.

250AD (190):

Sury lands Construction, so do this trade.

(missing screen of trade where we give him M/C and cash or something)

Of course this delays Paper yet again...

265AD (191):

Pingpong take a slave revolt >.< I pay the gold to not lose yet more pop. This of course means we delay paper, again!

Pusan's Forge gets whipped for dual whip anger for a bit.

Seoul's Forge is done, so get it on a quick Monastery (2 turns).

280AD (192):

Cheju with the free forest spread! Too bad it's on a hill, and therefore liable to get cleared.

Visgoth still size 1 :/

Pusan's forge finishes, get it on a slow courthouse, snooze.

295AD (193):

Seoul's Monastery is done.

310AD (194):

(missing major screens of the GS bulbing Phil and landing Tao in Hyangsang)

Great... In Hyang, the crap town on Shaka dot. At least it wasn't in Nampo

With that out of the way, fire the scientists at Wonsan. Actually, just 2 pop whip the thing for the courthouse. Growth in 5, so who cares?

325AD (195):

(missing paper screen)

Ok, tried to pass save off to Liq, but he said take it to UoS, so will do that O.o

UoS is a slow 22 turns in the Cap... 2 chops incoming and will do the best to mercilessly whip it.

Dial Compass next for an attempted Astro as a Lib target.

Wonsan's courts are done, so let it do a forge in peace.

340AD (196):

A quiet turn for once. No whippings. Towns growing next turn.

355AD (197):

Spread Tao to Apache, snooze.

370AD (198):

Hyang read to whip monument, do it.

Apache is done with the Trireme, so slot in a workboat.

385AD (199):

Hyang's monument done, so move to a leisurely granary.

Pusan 2 pop whips it's courthouse.

400AD (200):

Pusan now on a duct... zzz...

415AD (201):

Find out that I've been "screenshotting" without FRAPs on. Woo... fail. Anyways there was a popup saying we have the biggest land area. Yay. Meh is second.

Oh and we vote for Meh again.

430AD (202):

Total for voting for Meh up to +4.

445AD (203):

Bud Monastery done in Pingpong, dial a Duct.

460AD (204):

Apache's workboat is done yay. Dial a duct as I notice we're at the health cap.

Whip a few towns that I clearly wasn't watching closely enough.

475AD (205):

Ok, whipped Nampo's courts last turn, so get on a library.

Cheju got a granary whipped, also get on a library.

490AD (206):

I want UoS done now, so gonna just whip Seoul for it. It's unhealthy anyways.

505AD (207):

UoS is putting out 13 beakers for us right now, snooze. We need to spread our religion, so get Seoul on that with Missionaries.

Now Liq says "take more turns on account of you 'forgetting' to screenshot most of it..." sigh...

520AD (208):

Drop the whip on Pusan's market for even more unhappy, >.<

Cheju gets a free spread of Tao. Whoops.

Missionary finishes at Seoul, get on some more. Need to make that worthless wonder worthwhile.

Wonsan's forge is done, dial a bud mon.

Apache get's it's aqueduct whipped.

535AD (209):

Spread Bud to Cheju.

Pusan's market finishes, and it's the wrong religion, so dial a duct.

Apache's duct is done, dial a Bud Mon.

550AD (210):

ZZZ...

565AD (211):

Feudalism is up for trade. And so is Aes, snooze.

Seoul's missionary is done, send it out west. We dial a 1 turn archer before getting a settler, on account of not being able to control our insane growth rates.

580AD (212):

Slave revolt in Pusan, blah. Just crack down as the place has tonnes of food.

Take Visgoth as it finally pops to size 2.

Spread Bud to Pusan as it's revolting, lol.

Also dial up a settler in Seoul and send the archer on it's way to Orange dot.

----

Honestly bog boring turns that I didn't have the heart to continue on with despite Liq telling me to :crazyeye:. Hopefully something fun happens during your set Liq, was trying to keep the head from hitting the keyboard.

"How Long you want me to go on for" asks silver. "Moar Snoooooze!" a lazy liq replies. Yeah force feeding Silver on boring WHACK edition Infra builds, he did a fine job during this super snooze edition wang fest.

Nice to see pingpong's jungle is well on its way to being history.

Can see a total of 4.5 jungle tiles left so I'll try and clear it before silver sees the save again.

Fix some tiles and take Pusan's corn back from effing nampo... The Governor's fault for sure as HC Dot was whipped/evented down to size 3. Poor thing.

So we have paper.... that mean buy every one's map for 5 gold each. Considering that's 15 turns total of our nameless auto explore warrior, good deal to say the least.

Dam(n) that's a lot of Beaver.

I turn off The bug bfc overlay for all the settled dots and have a plan for a new dot not seen by human eyes. The AI actually followed whiteish dot and grey dot was only 1 south, which makes perfect sense considering sury and wang culture is crowding the area. Considering the barbs were 2 for 2 following our dot mapage in the north, it appears the better AI mod is much more intelligent with city placement.

So Sury let Meh grab all the jungle west of grey dot while he went off whoring bud and wonders and didn't expand much. SB Just got RNG shafted is all as you saw with the addition of several towns are on mini islands. Boffo Tip: when starting a hemispheres map, don't pick the 10 beaver start....

Looks like every town that grown to at least population 2 is burning whip anger off haha. Oh oh found a city to whip! This place is all food, no hammers outside of capital really and Red Dot.

Pingpong has the potential to hammer it's stuff out but needs to lay off the whip in order to grow now and subsume the grass hill and more cottages. The town is looking nice now though almost half its hammers come from AP hammers.... sad or comical, you decide.

Give Nampo Apaches copper tile for a few turns as it needs to get core infra to 2ish pop whip range.

SB researching civil in 6ish, seems spy points are creeping up. If we go demo, we'll pull away something silly on EP.

[1]595 AD
First time I've gotten a tech first turn for other than a hut. I'll be sure to leave silver a 1 turn tech as well ^^; <--- Korean smilie... dunno to be honest

New! not gonna shrink the tech slashes anymore!

A major cornerstone tech for so many paths, both guns and butter wise. Really not in need of the gun portion right now tho.

So 5+3ish binary turns for Optics as we need to
1. Open Astronomy for fall back Lib target.
2. Need to meet the other 4 Civs posthaste inorder to see what we can possibly grab with Lib.

No major religion Hounds so uhhh.... Washington, Raggy, Willy and maybe even Shaka as blind guesses. Should be 4 civs barring some premature end.

Meh pops the crap pony town in a good spot for us, as it's the same distance as Monty Dot from their shared fishies. Not likely he's going to take it from Apache. Told silver to nab it fast!!! As if we care.

Not sure, but I think the 'Better AI' respects water based cultural boundaries when dealing with settlers seeing as he could have snagged tundrachunk to the north easy instead of that pos. Well it's an ok dot if we had landed it, borrowing Apache's fish to grow into the coastal tiles it owns but no Big loss. Maybe we get to flip it!

Finally, We have our first two Bigmen healing up in Visigoth.

This is the Former Green Dot location Sid settled for us.

[2]610 AD
One sword is completely healed so I move him west to fog bust the last few tiles. I find the parked trireme by Apachie and head north as I know there's a barb galley up there.

Wonsan finishes its buddy temple for a complete set and slot in a 7 turn harbor since that will almost coincide with optics.

[3]625 AD
Visigoth comes out of revolt and ow to our bottom line hehe. Economy is on the pick up though so not too bad. 2 more dots to dent it are incoming though.

Seems Optics in 5 and can lower science to 90% to limit bleed.

Meh pops the hanging gardens... wow late hehe.

[4]640 AD
Holding off trading with our 'Buddys' as these blood suckers want gold. Need to push out optics first and do not really want to fatten them up.

Pusan is under uh... 40ish more turns of whip anger so uh yeah... I work a hill as it grows to size 3 so it has the hammers to punch out buddy love buildings somewhat quicker. It also finished its aqueduct from a chop and onto a buddy love monastery in 13ish. Why a duct before buddy love? Not sure, but cannot fault silver for falling asleep. The town is hurting to say the least hehe

[5]655 AD
Seoul finishes settler and unto a 2 turn bud misses. Need to pump out a few of these and no other town is really set up for them. The town needs to grow a bit before spitting out 2 more settlers.

Buy another 5 gold map from Meh to make sure, and settler is on the way in 4 turns for operation friendship.

[6]670 AD
Lots of growing going on and Apache pops its buddy love monastery. I slot in a buddy love temple to complete the set in the meantime though Optics in 2, so that build will be pushed back some as this town needs to whip out a boat.

[7]685 AD
Buddy love misses pops in Seoul and heads to Visigoth to help pop its borders.
more buddy love in 2 and slot in a duct after as the town is about to grow into unhealthy.

Nampo's library can be whipped so I do just that, into a worker after as it needs bud still and can stand not to grow for a good while as it was getting fat feeding off poor Pusan's corn.

AP vote comes up and Meh for the meh!

[8]700 AD
And whee first to..

Place caravels in monty and izzy... izzys only takes 6 turns so not going to whip it. I decline to upgrade the trireme as it's last job will be to maybe kill a barb galleny, fog bust til Brown Dot of pony and clam fame is dropped.

Apache has the food to abuse, so gonna whip its boat next turn.

Place a 15 +11ish binary (ow) turn Education on the docket with 11ish turns of gold collecting =/ well this will give me time to see how bad things are overseas and it will go faster than 26ish turns, as I've stopped whipping the older towns and the economy is about to take off.

So a few spare tiles to plant this thing....

+3 dip for donating it to meh. Some more breathing room Dip wise and might get him to friendly.

[9]715 AD
Indeed, get Meh to friendly so beg 30 gold from him and 50 from Sury to celebrate.

Sitting bull dropped to cautious again because he swapped to Christianity for some unknown reason ehehe. Keep in mind that Sitting bull has the buddy love AP and Sury is a default -4 relations with him even without being a heathen. This looks fun.

On the culture front, we took the ponys from Malatya

..for now hehe.

I whip Apache's Caravel for 17 turns of anger.

[10]730 AD
Sury comes looking to trade our machinery +40 gold for his feudalism, sure.

If for some reason meh goes free religion, we can fall back on vassage to keep him pleased. Not to mention we want guilds eventually.

Buddy arrives at Visigoth and sticks.

Oh and Apache's boat is go! Wonsan's in 6ish. Will easily get circum at least.

[11]745 AD
Buddy spreads to Nampo as well, the town had Christianity there so wasn't absolute. nice to get that one out of the way.

[12]760 AD
Huh, very odd. Our phil + 40 gold for sb's Aesthetics might sound like a bad idea if SB wasn't 2ish turns from researching phil hehe. He's not anyone's worst enemy yet, so getting trades in while I can.

That opens up drama which we can definitely trade for later.

sb is on a 19 turn nationalism and we can see Sury's research briefly now as well, civil in 3... mmmmmmmmmm trade bait prolly since sb has it.

Cheju (red dot) finally pops its borders so that means marble is good to go. will mosey on over there.

This entire set my trireme has been chasing this effing barb galley around haha. need the circum bonus to catch up haha.

[13]775 AD
could just upgrade the trireme to a caravel but meh need the gold.

Oh we meet...

a Jewish Rammy? oh and oh my his score is low haha. He doesn't like us enough to trade for map and doesn't have techs like meditation and uh code currency, theo, aes, etc etc etc... backwards! This bodes well considering no one has rolled this fool over yet..

[14]790 AD
Lizzy caravel is go for the circum! It heads SW even though this map script doesn't normally have choked poles.

Barb galley is at its AI boundary (can only leave its via area chasing people) so it's stuck by brown dot haha.

Trireme barely takes it out with .1 health left. Gonna disband that pos when brown is settled and pops its borders.

[15]805 AD

Rammy wants open borders but eff that until I can ensure he's not someone's worst enemy hehe.

Meh is back to pleased but it's a high pleased so all good. He should get friendly again from maturing peace bonuses.

[16]820 AD
Now rammy is demanding out of date techs like compass.. refused it but meh should have taken it for the dip. I'll gift him aes later.

Seems we weren't the only ones to get massed food towns + barb galleys hehe.
Next up AI wise...

Lost the screen =/

Meet Hindu Cyrus and he's lacking techs like paper phil currency code etc... Backwards though he got literature drama and eng on us. He's more advanced than Rammy but not much. Possible drama trade here.

Cyrus wants 146 gold for map and uh no thanks that's education moneys.

[17]835 AD
SB demands machinery and hell sure, nets him pleased.

Apache goes unhappy at size 10 but its temple is done next turn. I place the town on weak hammers instead of coast as it's at caps and it needs to spit out a ton of fishing boats for the northern towns. Will go back to the coast later as it's good commerce.

[18]850 AD
I look at Sury and notice he has civil for trade finally... I go phil and optics for the tech..

ow, but at least sb has phil.

I'll revolt to Bureaucracy after I meet all 4 other Civs.

I meet ice choked northern pole just to contradict myself from before, looks like I'll be able to weasel through.

We are now Egypt's worst enemy haha. The heathen dip starting to kick in.

Seoul pops settler so onto another in 5, sending this one to tundrachunk.

Was about to push a buddy love out of Apache then remembered fishing boats!

[19]860 AD
Pushing boats and workers oh joy.

[20]870 AD
Pop Wang's "Hubris" from nampo and get him on beefing up the roadways. Nampo is now on a forever market since the copper is back to Apache.

First work boat pops from Apache next in 2ish turns. Need uh 4 or so more and let me tell you... that circum bonus is gonna help!

[21]880 AD
Lots of barb galleys all over the place on the other continent hehe.

[21]890 AD
I pop tundrachunk (Inchon) as our finances groan haha.

Missing screen! actually wrote over it accidentally because phobusket wasn't recognizing the file format... meh

One more!

oh Visigoth's borders popped a while ago and a worker is already on the pigs while another is about to road over to them from Inchon.

[23]900 AD
Seoul finishes last settler and onto 2 buddy lovers. Have ping pong on a 3rd. barring rejection out of Hyangsan (Taoist holy town!), this will be enough.

Nice food event for pingpong.

Seems that event no longer happens with discovery of education. Close call.

[24]910 AD
Notice Sury has 1450 in bank but cannot beg it hehe... wonder loss gold?

Oh and we prove the world is round. The work boats rejoice.

We are no longer Rammys worst enemy so open borders and gift him aes for the dip. Should have taken his demand before but at least aes is cheaper.. oh well.

[25]920 AD
Hook up the final fishie nets up in Hyangsan and it's officially 3 food and not much else.... you know what time it is kiddies!!!! 2 pop lighthouse in 1 down to size 3 and growing in 1.... need drama to place globe in here and national park maybe

Brown Dot is settled!

Uh, Pingpongjr it is!

[26]930 AD
Speaking of drama, optics for sb's lit, drama 80 gold and his map ^^;

Time to spam theatres anywhere there's a border!

I meet Willy and well so far running 1 for 3.. not too horrible considering.

Another missing screen =/

Willy's confused, Rammy is jewish, Cyrus is hinding and sb is christian hana we should go Tao just for the pretty scoreboard. Oddly, they don't hate each other so I open borders with em all. Astro is going to be some nice trade lines.

[27]940 AD
InfraLiq cries at this sight....

There's no way to work both fishes hehe. There's a barb galley on the other side too hehe.

[28]950 AD
Yay!

Took 20 turns total, and that is why one tries to sink a great scientist into it.

Back to 0% science for a while, as universities pop up in the major commerce centers. 31 beakers a turn from UoS and maybe a scientist spec, means we aremissing 10ish more buddy love buildings. Still have one town lacking buddy love, the Taoist holy city!

[29]960 AD
William demands far too much for horseback riding, so I laugh in his face.

[30]870 AD
Final buddy love hits Hyangsan and sticks... woo, all our towns are buddy lovable!

[31]990 AD
I trade spices and pigs for sb's fur and sheep.

[32]1000 AD
Nothing special going on!

[33]1100 AD
Taking far too long to find the last civ so I buy Willys's map for 120 gold.

I find out there is no 4th civ. It must have gotten barbed or whichever.

So yeah, only person that can even see education is the guy whom we can see his research... SB. The other continent is hopelessly behind to say the least. In that case might as well take lib to one turn and look for a better tech, like Constitution or the real prize... Democracy.

[34]1020 AD
Already have the gold to 100% lib so when Seoul's uni comes online gonna hammer it out lest some civ demands 1k gold. Of course post turn set as I clean up the report I realize the other continent doesn't have currency....

[35]1030 AD
Dutch founding more towns and meh + sury get the buddy wedding event.

[36]1040 AD
All jungle in Pingpong officially gone!! rejoice, blingbling gets to road the joint now.

[37]1050 AD
Boring worker fun. I forget to turn on science oh my!

[38]1060 AD
So I turn on science to 100% and lib is only 6 turns

SB researching printing press which we'll want hmm...

[39]1070 AD
Sury gets nationalism and is willing to trade but we only have paper (and education) on him.

[40]1080 AD
Sury whores the Notre Dame and Islam is founded in Cactra, one of Cyrus's towns. So that means Meh has no reason to leave buddy outside of free religion. Considering he loves vassalage, doubtful.

[41]1090 AD
Farming the plains around red dot... yup that bored.

[42]1100 AD
Pingpongjr, of pony rides and clam-cicles fame, finally pops it's borders and so the work boat can get to work. Tundra chunk is popping in um 2 turns!!

[43]1110 AD
Pingpong finishes its wang's luxuriance it started before education came in and starts on a fast theatre for culture fun.

Liberalism in 1 so I move slider down to 50% to make it 2 turns again. +19 gold!

[44]1120 AD
so Liberalism is very few beakers away and this is what foreign tech looks like....

yeah ugly or what. we can see what sb is researching so wooo.

Unis are up in the 4 major (hammer) locations while Puson is limping away at it. Apache is finishing off its library so I cannot slot in the uni there but yeah it's done in 3ish. Make sure to micro apache to your liking btw, I went hammer heavy.

Ping pong has 24 base hammers and is done with it's major infra, compare that to Puson who just recently lost it's whip anger lol. Oxford goes to ping pong and maybe even wall street.

Anyway, tech wise, lib needs a nudge to kill off so lets go for libbing democracy! Rush buy, cottage cheese and super charged spy huts for the win! Oh and an easy statue. It's actually doable if we can somehow get nationalism from sury.

Nationalism->Constitution and then printing press+ Constitution is all that's needed to see demo and sury has nationalism for trade.

What to trade? Printing press + cash!?!

So research is on printing press as it is needed for demo but is also trade bait to sury for nationalism, not to mention the effect of +cottage commerce is delish. Sury is going to need paper to see printing press btw, so if you see him with a large amount of cash around when printing press is done, you know what to do. Since we really do not want to have sury seeing education until we are prepared for Constitution play paper close to our hand.

Printing Press is a fast 7+1ish binary turns away since we have 800ish in the bank. Thinking the days of binary are over for the most part though so play around with it, 90% science can nail it in 8 with some beg cash. If all else fails, lib Astro and call it a win.

Running +189 gpt +55 btp after assigning a few scientist specs now which is a bit better than I started with. We don't even have guilds but that's tradeable after Liberalism. Seoul's gs in 25ish is for acad in Pingpong.

As for winning, dip is not going to be possible as Meh is going to be our opponent (btw he's stable friendly now looks like, barring ugliness of course) and culture is not our strong suit. We might want to force a culture game actually later as if this snooze fast wasn't exciting enough. Anyway, thinking since other continent is so backwards AND heathen, some trans Atlantic Domination might be in order after demo is landed and the Kremlin is built.

Oh EVERYONE that's pleased+ can be begged, enjoy!

Snoozefest round if not for the boats and Wang's trinkets running around dealing with too much work.

----------------------
Silver is out a few days so I'll just auto pilot this some more haha.. zzzzzz

Cheers!

Ok well back again, lets try and nail demo with liberalism! before liq falls asleep. Liq will try to make this half way entertaining but man... lot of snooze going on.

The missing screen shot of the town known as Tundrachunk...

Inchon, master of its marginal BFC and about to take off! Yeah a late monument.

Egypt is pleased now seeing as we get +4 from being in bureaucracy so beg his 30ish gold from him. Only other person with spare gold is meh so beg him his 60.

Just enough to ensure Printing press in 8ish.

[1]1130 AD
Meh drops back down to pleased and adopts mercantilism meaning he nailed banking.

[2]1140 AD
Sury gets another GE from his wonderspam joy.

Cyrus picks up 60 gold but cannot beg it hehe.

[3]1150 AD
Hah! Sury obviously spends his GE on the Taj as the wonder gfalls and he goes into a golden age... Meh has the MoM

Meh gets a GE as well... not sure what he's going to do with it.

So Seoul is done with building stuff and we don;t need units.... so wealth for over 40 gold a turn.. nice.

[4]1160 AD
SB gains printing press and he's on a 15 turn Constitution =) good good

Can get printing press in 3 so I do.

[5]1170 AD
Hyangsan grows into unhappy so 2 pop whip its monastery and slot in a buddy love temple to complete the set. Manage to get it stagnant now.

[6]1180 AD
Cyrus will trade engineering for civil and paper but meh.... I will hold onto paper since engineering doesn't benefit us directly.

[7]1190 AD
SB comes demanding education.. right! Eff off heathen loser.

Printing press comes in so I slot 0% science into nationalism

A good 25ish commerce a turn right there.

I trade paper for Effing horseback riding to sury straight out as he wants gold for effing music haha. Whatever, he needs to be able to see printing press.

+3 trade relations from that pos haha.

[8]1200 AD
Sury wants education and printing press for nationalism and eff that noise.. I put science to 90% for a 7ish turn nationalism for a mere 55ish gold lost a turn. Will keep trying printing for nationalism.

[9]1210 AD
There we go... printing press + 165 gold for his nationalism.

Now we're cookin with warm grease.

Constitution in 10ish turns. Only running a mere -19 gold a turn @ 80% slider... I take it seeing as we have 341 in bank and maybe I can beg some gold I traded sury next turn! Might make it to demo!!!

Sb is going for con in 8 in comparison and meh still doesn't have phil.

[10]1220 AD
Visigoth finishes it's buddy love monastery so onto the temple.

[11]1230 AD
Cyrus comes demanding civil service hehe. Sure captain caveman.

Try begging but no one bites. Sad panda. Srsy, sad panda.

[12]1240 AD
Cyrus goes mercantilism as well so banking trades in the future maybe!

Pusan limps into its UB University and we gain a turn on Constitution. that poor town is still trying to recover from silver's heavy handed management style.

5/6 unis with the 6th cooking in 4 turns in Apache. Pingpong is building wealth so might start oxford after after Demo slingshot is determined.

[13]1250 AD
Sury's Goldenage ends same turn he revolts to nationhood. Oh, Sury will trade astro too hehe.

Still can trade education!

[14]1255 AD
Finally, Willy comes asking for phil. Sure man!

[15]1260 AD
Can lower science to 70% and keep con in 3 vs sb's 2 nice nice. +15 gold a turn abusing wealth in Seoul and Pingpong!

Abusing the crap out of Organized Religion as more towns are going into wealth mode soon.

Willy is pleased now yay! Oh and can see that Egypt is getting guilds in 3 now. Early con/demo and communism will really hammer those EP's

Wow Meh still cannot see the other continent hehe.

Oh my we barely slipped into first place score wise even without the help of lib.

[16]1265 AD
Sury finally builds the Buddy love shrine!.. wow that must be worth something to be so late.

Apache builds the 6th UB Uni and notice a jungle that needs to be cleared in the town's BFC rofl.

Oh well, not the end of the world.

Constitution in 2 turns and cannot speed it. SB will beat us to it by one turn, as if it matters... Demo is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Omg, did liq really just say that?

Still no one else has education so I take Pingpong off Wealth for a surprisingly painless Oxford in 25 turns... without stone! Really not bad for no levi.

Oh damn we lost first place in score by 7 points.. oh noes, the drama.

[17]1270 AD
Meh goes into a MoM assisted golden age and random bad events happen to other people hehe.

One one has education yet so...

[18]1275 AD

Jails are the bomb, especially with spy huts up next.

Whee, Liberalism in .01 turns hehe

[19]1280 AD
Liberalism comes in and asks me

So much great stuff from this path.

Statue of liberty would take a bureaucracy powered Seoul a whopping 30 turns so since we have AT LEAST 22 turns head start on sb (maybe more if that Meh goes bonkers) I place it in red dot for a lazy 45 turns nominal. 40 if I work Seoul's iron, but it's growing in one turn so I do that after it finishes its coliseum next turn. After it grows it won't need to steal Seoul's iron to bring it down to 40 turns.

Great scientist out of Seoul in 3 turns so golden age incoming as we need to swap a few civics. Not sure if ping pong is ever going to get its academy haha. Will try and line up an econ rush.

Since Seoul is free to do what it wants, jail in 4 to get the Ep's flowing!

So bite the bullet and trade Persia education and nationalism for his music guilds and engineering.

All three techs are important pre-reqs and contain toys we can use now even tho no war is going on.

Sury wants con AND education for astronomy and banking, which I'll see for trade next turn, is only a two turn tech... so eff him. Banking in 2 turns running a profit. gonna make an end run on econ for the free merchant as we can use a golden age to revolt. GS in 3 turns but rather have it an academy hehe.

Can see Sury's research now and he;s on a ten turn education, prolly why he didn't value it much.

Going to start automating the workers.

[21]1290 AD

Banking comes in and going to bull rush Economics for the free merchant. That will let us go free market as well as what demo and con offer so not bad. Oh and there's the academy in Pingpong deal too! go beakers go.

[22]1295 AD
Oh wow power to the house went out =/

I load auto save and liberalism's free tech is bugged, so I need to go back to 1260 AD...

Ok back some events played different =/... though have a feeling it's just delaying the inevitable.

Pop the great scientist and going to gamble that we get econ before Cyrus for the merchant by making an academy in ping pong.. cuts a turn off econ as it was right on the cusp.

[23]1300 AD
And we get our first we love the idiot day in Seoul. well first in a long time if ever hehe.

The capital finishes jail and so onto a spy hut... the ep hurt is about to unfold hehe.

So now that Sury is 5 turns to education and we are on the econ way, I pull con + education for his Astro.

Hah, he's a funny guy.

A major tech as not only does it open trade routes, you can trade resources... have a feeling the other side doesn't have much in the way of corn fishies piggies hehe.

He indeed goes economics though in 9, ours is in 3.

[24]1310 AD
Astro helps trades by about 10 gpt but mmmmm resources....

Cyrus gets one each of our MANY corn n piggies for his cow and crab.
Willy gets one each of our MANY corn n fishies for his wine and bananas.
see a trend here?
Rammy gets one each of our MANY corn n piggies + PRECIOUS Gold for his Incense, dye and Wheat.

Suddenly no one is sick anymore and happy caps are much higher hehe. Time to grow again. I like this map script and how it splits the resources.

The Jails alone are hard at work as we can see Cyrus' research now, chemistry in 12... that means we have the free merchant in 2. Only going to get better as the spy huts build and officially insane when the spy supermarkets from communism hit.

[25]1315 AD
We are 889/715 vs Meh currently, the toughest civ by far, lets see how that ratio changes.

[26]1320 AD
Score!

and.. out pops a merchant who instantly spawns a 10 turn golden age.

So I swap into
universal suffrage, hammer from towns? sure!
Free speech +2 commerce from towns? sure!
Emancipation +100% growth to towns? Sure!
Free market no state prop yet? sure!

Pingpong's oxford is now in 8 golden turns hehe.

So The Spiral Minaret from divine right is still not taken, seems Cyrus is not interested, so I slot that in in 5 golden turns as the wonder would be worth a fair chunk of change.

Taking a break.

ok needed food.

[27]1325 AD
Rush a granary in tundrachunk to get things rolling. Need to get these buddy monasteries out of the way as sci meth is coming.

[28]1330 AD
rammy comes asking for civil, sure.

[28]1335 AD
Last two dots need their monetary, inchon's is just gonna get bought out as it's hurting for hammers, pingpong jr is doing fine on account its got pony rides for the kiddies!

[30]1340 AD
snooze... not only snooze in a game of eternal snooze but literally snooze. I mean absolutely nothing worth mentioning happened type of snooze where normally liq could rattle on about how too few workers get so many names sort of snooze.

[21]1345 AD

And both Versailles and The Spiral are Open. Persia has this tech for a long time, not sure what's up.

Place spiral in Seoul in 16 golden turns, only 5 of which are left, should not take too much longer.. doubt we get it but worth a try.

So rush buy ichon's buddy love monastery, pingpong jr's is done before the golden age finishes. Place Scientific method in 9ish golden.

[32]1350 AD
Persia gets a slave revolt<3

Three towns grow, including Seoul, thanks to the trades. I fired the scientists after I got the resources from overseas so the town could grow again.

I place Versailles in Apache, at worst it is cash since hammers are amplified by marble.

[33]1355 AD
sury demands democracy, we have happy to burn so denied.

[34]1360 AD
Oxford finishes and ping pong is onto an observatory. Last buddy monastery done in pingpong jr in 2

[35]1365 AD
Notice the Taoist holy town doesn't have a tao monastery hehe get on that fast.

[36]1370 AD
Golden age ends... sad panda.

[37]1375 AD
We finally able to see everyone's tech the same turn Meh goes all red fist

About time. Meh is pretty backwards now seeing as he still hasn;t met rammy or willy. Cyrus caravel was the only reason Meh met the other continent. Anyway, could either be sb or Cyrus... my money is that he's aiming for the fool closer to home.

Gonna build an explorer somewhere to provide entertainment for silver then I realize....

The jails are doing the work for us hehe.. well still going to make an explorer maybe. Well when someone's queue opens up, not gonna interrupt spy huts and forges!

[38]1380 AD
hmm gonna delete the boats seeing as they are scumming polar fog now.

[39]1385 AD
Meh is 3 turns from Military Tradition but doesn't even have gunpowder yet hehe. whatever.

Next turn is Sci method, all towns have buddy loven monastery, 3 have tao 2 have christ. Good enough, not like we going free religion soon, if at all.

[40]1390 AD

Oh wtf x3
We lose the spiral to effing Meh hahaha.

Then war horn starts and I think meh bit the bullet? no, SB attacked sury??? hahahaha. wtf indeed. A classic SB back stab with no warning. He's going to be hurtng when Meh rolls up to help out.

And last wtf is we have no effing oil. The other three fools have multiple oil each. You know what that means.

So back to the boring mundane, Communism is in 10 nominal turns and we want it before anything else. Place Kremlin into capital. Rush buy for the lack of hammers we have, feel free to rush buy the kremlin hehe.

After that, well wtfever tickles your pink. If we do not get oil we are effed for pretty much anything war like past soonish. At the worst I guess we can just use a great scientist for ethanol but lets be serious. Cav is 4 techs away and we are pulling in roughly 550 beakers per turn at break even.

Cav + spy points maybe or just suicide cav, needless to say all mature turns have or are building a jail and beeline the hut.

Up to you, all I can say is this: "Control + left click" any city bar to select all towns. Then click the build CAV icon. Then click rush buy. Wait x turns at 0% slider so you can afford 10x cav then repeat. Not sure how much each cav costs to buy with kremlin but by that point the economy is going to be much better than a mere 355 gold per turn at 0%.

Oh SB is worst enemy of meh as well as sury now hehehehe.

Could just go super snooze fest and space ship this crap though the game just got fun hehe.

This is our amazing army so far btw.

Dunno if that makes one weep or laugh.... infraliq loves it.

Oh and don't bother trading demo or communism to anyone, thanks.

Maybe I'll talk to silver tonight maybe and play again just to set all this kremlin abuse up. Just hope this war lasts a good long time with lots of blood! Least 6 techs worth.

Cheers!
-Liq

Edit hmm seems a 20 pic cap so deleted a few hahaha

Right back, lets see if I cannot get some fun for silver before these morons stop fighting.

Quite the difference from my prior sets. Nice power ratios eh?

Communism is 10 turns at 70%... economy can support 67% ish slider

[1]1395 AD
So it starts off super fun.... first sb comes demanding we cancel deals with Sury, eff off.

Then Egypt goes we have too much mode... as I'm trying to find out if he could declare on us, the event log catches up and Egypt AND Meh both declare on sb... moral support on egypt's part but Meh so soon isn't good for SB.

A huge chunk of the map lights up as we can see all towns in egypt now...

Even Rammy's polar island paradise can be seen

Sb takes out sury's border town of raj whatever first turn... almost missed it.

[2]1400 AD
The bleeding continues, first egypt of all people ask we cancel deals with sb, sure then sb and sury both ask us to join the war... ug. ok well it's meh we are really concerned about.

we lose beaver and sheep from trades with sb =/

Surys towns starting to light up though ep so might be able to see some fun.

[3]1405 AD
Hmm can no longer see most of SB's towns. Must be linked to open borders... dunno how that all works!

Meh is on a 5 turn gun powder finally.

[4]1410 AD
Sury comes asking to trade his corp for out lib + 800 gold eff that. 800 gold though huh? oh yeah 400ish in wonder rejection. Bring science to 90% to cut communism to 8 turns total.

[5]1415 AD
Small dip in power for sb and meh is looking scary hehe.

[6]1420 AD
Egypt is 1 turn from theo and asks to buy ours for 50 gold... ok!

[7]1425 AD
Ow yeah, Snake town taken out by Meh hehe.

[8]1430 AD

30 turns nominal for Kremlin in capital as it multiplies by effing stone again drat it. I should be able to push it out in 25ish as the town has room to grow into more hammers.

We get a free great spy who is best saved for a golden age I think, I send him south to see what's going on in sb land.

I slot in a replaceable parts in 5 running 80 science. convert those forests to hammers!

I debate trading for military Tradition from Sury but he wants too much.. eff him.

[9]1435 AD
I do trade liberalism + 65 gold for Persia's Gunpowder though, get that tech out of the way.

Cyrus going free religion would be nice.

Ow sb's power took a major dive vs nothing on the opposing side... not good.

[10]1440 AD
I take a liberalism + half researched demo for surys mil trade + his 120 gold hehe. Dunno if he'll go free religion but if he does, good news as that will frost relations with Meh.

[11]1445 AD
our Great spy runs down to sb land and meh is tossing elephants and maces at long bows on hills hehehe... almost all of sb's towns are on hills ... joy.

big meh stack tho coming from snake town

[12]1450 AD
Accidentally build Versailles in Apache and missed the screen hehe.

Oh hmm that helps us out quite a bit cash wise actually. Who'd have known!

So not sure where meh went now haha. weird.

[13]1455 AD

Replaceable parts comes in and I actually slot in chemistry in 6 no 5, because of that second capital hehe. Pulling a profit at 70% now.

Chemistry as opens a lot of seriously important stuff, not to mention we can use the extra hammers on workshops.

Found meh's stack and man is it worked over by cats. Nothing is above half health tho sb's force is all north.

looking like 22ish turns on kremlin and uh sol in 4 ish hehe

[14]1460 AD
Can finally see Meh's first towns from ep... oh that ratio?
977/1068... it's like he's standing still hehe.

looks like mound city is about to get beat down by a messed up stack hehe.

He has no siege there but sb doesn;t have many units.

[15]1465 AD
Meh by passing mound city, not a fool I guess. The ai is smart enough to find better targets as it heads south to SB's capital. Not looking good for SB.

[16]1470 AD
Yeah meh's power took a minor hit tho sb's isn't so hot either.

[17]1475 AD

So red dot returns to the land of the living hehehe. Multiple Eras of infra for the town to build, good thing it has the hammers.

Silver's slavish devotion to forges pays off as almost all towns have at least an engineer spec to work the free SoL spec. Tundrachunk is working a normal spec so its forge it was working on gets bought outright.

[18]1480 AD

Chemistry comes in and see sury is 1 turn from sci method.. I hem and haw and go physics in 10 nominal (running a profit) as we are going to want it just to make sure we have nukes to build ships with. Going for it now nets us a free gs to pop an acad in capital or Pusan, not to mention denying the gs to sury. OH! And Air Ships!!!!!!!

More seriously, this game is gonna go to arty at the very least, so getting the free scientist pushes this up.

I keep delaying rifling but meh, there's no butter in it and there is at least 15ish more turns of safe!

Egypt and SB made peace a bit ago... like it matters.

[19]1485 AD
ow ow meh takes out sb's capital... the wonderspam haus with at least the mids hehe.

Some event nukes the forge I just bought in tundrachunk hehe, more gold tossed at the bloody thing in order to keep it.

[20]1490 AD
yeah meh paid for that win as his power curve leveled off hehe.. sb is gassed tho, he's prolly gonna hang on to his islands and that's all. Glad vassals are off =p

Kremlin in 14ish just as the economy took another step up due to mass maturing cottages hehe.

[21]1495 AD
Not sure what's gonna happen to sb if he doesn't make peace with meh as he's shipping trebs over now hehe. Fear wang's airships fools!

[22]1500 AD
oh joy, sb signs peace with meh. He's still at war with sury though and owns one of sury's towns... not sure how that's gonna work. Meh is prolly gonna re-declare right after peace anyway.

[23]1505 AD
WTF now William dow's on sb. This is getting silly. He's as backwards as egypt.

[24]1510 AD
A mine gets gassed, I pay for it. yawn. Having cash on hand is so nice.

Sury goes emance and... free religion hehe. Ok he falls to pleased and dropping fast, no chance able to get corp at a bad rate from him anymore haha. Oh my it's like a 3 turn tech now.

Need to start building military hehe.. rifling soon.

[25]1515 AD
Our great spy is safely in capital again to hang out and sign autographs at the non exploding elephants.

[26]1520 AD
SB makes peace with sury and gives up the town he took... bad deal all around for SB. Silly move, SB attacking must have been one of those refused demands things.

Wow! William actually landed some troops... chariots and maces in large numbers hehe.... no siege!!!

[27]1525 AD
Hyang pops a GS so he heads to capital so silver can decide what's going to happen.

Sury and Meh sign a a defensive pact hehehe.

[28]1530 AD

Holy Airships of Grace help us in our hour of need!

Two scientists and a cup... er spy, sitting in capital

5 more turns til silver gets to play around...

Thankfully we have one nuke resource in the desert

Means we can at least field a navy.

[29]1535 AD
Meh briefly flashes we have too much mode but it's gone now.. glad we are pleased with that fool still hehe.

[30]1540 AD
Willy comes offering 160 gold for education he'd get next turn... ok fine hehe no dip mod with SB, he's pissy enough for all the denials.

I wake up and realize I might as well academy one of the scientists... look and since Seoul is a hybrid, it's pulling in twice the beakers as the abused Pusan is... so there works.

[31]1545 AD
Can see 95% of all towns now from the jail + hut combo alone. Didn't really get many supermarkets out on account been building banks stables and barracks and the odd Stupa in ping pong.

[32]1550 AD
Ug more war horns scaring infra Liq hehe.

Meh's peace with SB ends so he's back at it. That's good though because that breaks the defensive pact with sury ehehe. Sury, by the way, is not even pleased with us anymore.. what a loser, he needs to die.

Think he settled that island in the middle of nowhere btw in case you want to know where his last town is.

[33]1555 AD
And the World Trembled

-1/3rd rush and whip costs, Protective Riflemen and Cav are go. Yum.

You have a great spy and scientist all set for a golden age to revolt to whatever civics you want. Acads are up in capital and pingpong. Recall vassalage is Meh's favorite civic for very easy friendship and organized religion isn;t needed as much now if you want to dive theo. State property is open as well.

Demographics are binary..

1st in GNP, Prod, Land, Population... Last in Troops, Approval, Life Expectancy, Exports. EP's from demo + con alone provides us with 95% city sight. feel free to focus said eps. Didn't hit the supermarkets super hard, had banks and happy/health to build dammit.

I placed it on steel for likely research path but it's ultimately up to you.. think of this as "choose your own adventure".

Beelined targets that might interest you..
Steel -> Artillery... IW, Cannon, Arty, protective antitank. Seems best course for bashing in Sury. IW can go into red or capital, you decide. Red is gonna splode with bio, capital is gonna splode with levi.

HE goes into Apache, should have done that already. The town just came out of wonder stupor though.

Steam <-> corp -> Assembly line but that's not so great a deal past steam power.

Military Science <-> steam power -> rails for the protective Grens -> mg's trick but not sure if worth it. We are going to need a real garrison tho. Steam power is win though as are rails

Subsist on rifles cav for now and go bio -> medicine but meh.... need guns now, not butter.

The electricity path is a lot of butter as well...

Just turn off science and go with buying cav + rifles to take out sury right off.

If rush buying btw, allow for a turn to toss hammers into said item before buying hehe.

Control + left click on a city bar selects all towns, left click rifle or cav, hit next turn. control + left click to select all towns, rush buy.

shift + right click is supposed to set a rally point but it doesn't work for me..

Most towns have barracks + stable already... tundrachunk is hopeless and nampo missed barracks by my mistake, can buy it all now though.

Bottom line though here is sury can back stab us at any moment so time to spam some defences. We need to take out sury for his oil.

Opened save to see the demographics and noticed we can sign a defensive pact with meh I guess when he isn;t bashing sb skull... wise to do so if you aren't planning on jumping sury super soon. Feel free to go PA cheese with meh hehe.

You can play the next 100 turns or so, pass it over when you want tanks and bombers.

This has got to be one of the longest single forum pages in CFC history.

Cheers!

Well, Liq says "Play moar turns!" but I figured I better get this posted before folks get too bored (like anyone is actually looking at this ).

Well, I am. So how about getting your lazy a§§es moving ? :D

Silver is a bit snowed in so give the guy a break hehe.

Oh and prolly not a good idea to attack Sury seeing as everyone likes him ....

Cheers!
