So Is It Worth Downloading The Patch?

Ok, so I've read about all the benefits and potential bugs resulting from both the 1.07 and the 1.16 patches, and so the question is: Is it worth dowloading either one (1.07 or 1.16) with their respective potential drawbacks or should I just stick to the original game and wait for the next patch to come out? Thanks.

Having not played much without the Patch, I was a bit pissed of when towns went into Disorder, (As notified in CIV1 & 2) and also when a Wonder was no longer in use, messages where no longer there.(Fixed) Found the original shipped version caused a coupled of crashes with my Mouse Driver,(Patch appears to have fixed that prob.). Down side is 40 turns to make techs. But all in all i think its worth it.

If you've been reading threads around here over the past several weeks you know that patch barely scratched the surface of what needs to be done regarding a merely good - but also very flawed - game.
