So what do you think of Conan after a month?

So, its been a month since Conan took over for Jay and ratings have dropped once again for NBC.

I still like Conan a lot better than Letterman but not as much as Jay.

Its strange, I loved Conan at 12:30 but he doesn't hit the spot at 11:30.

You think Conan will eventually regain Jay's ratings and hold a steady lead over Lettermen?

Conan isn't going to stay ahead of Letterman because Letterman is going to get the old fart demographic that was previously watching Leno. Conan is popular with the youngsters, problem is the youngsters don't always watch a lot of TV.

I haven't missed a single episode of Conan, but I also haven't caught a single one on television, all of it has been through nbc.com. I still think Conan is the funniest of the bunch, but I kinda wish Richter hadn't come back, all he really does is immature humor.

I don't watch the show.

I get all my TV online too. But Conan's Monologue isn't as good as Jay's.

I think it was better when he was bouncing his jokes off Max and the band instead of Andy. He seems to have reeled in some of his antics for the Tonight Show as well.

I've watched parts a couple of times. It seems OK much like his old show. I imagine he brought most, if not all, of his writers with him so no big shock there. I usually watched him in his old slot because I liked him a lot more than any of the others. But in this slot I'd probably pick Letterman, not that I watch all that often. But I'm certainly more willing to watch him than Leno.

I generally prefer Ferguson, but I haven't watched more than a few minutes of any of the late shows since Connan moved time slots, and haven't watched any of them regularly a couple years.

Conan is decent, better than Letterman. He seemed better at 12:30, maybe the extra hour makes a difference (Although I do find the Year 3000 skit funnier than the Year 2000 skit for some reason). But, I'd rather watch Leno than either Conan or Letterman.

I don't want late shows much but when I do it's Craig Ferguson for me.

I'm out of the loop, what happened to Jay again? He retired already?

Conan seemed well fit into the 12:30 & Jay the 11:30, I can't imagine Conan being able to fill Jay's shoes.

Conan is just not funny. I was hoping they hired new writers for his new show which could have made it better, but apparently not.

I haven't watched much Conan in a while (only once in the new time slot), so I'll not weigh in on that.

But what most surprises me is that a lot of people in this thread liked Leno at all. His show was terrible.
