Why don't some of these fanbois just come to terms that a lot of people find the game, at the very least, disappointing. And most people just forked out $50 for a game that in a lot of ways is inferior to Civ 4.

Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying this game. But having said that, spending (in my case) $80 on a game isn't a big deal for me, unlike some people. I can see its flaws, and already see that it probably wont be as good as Civ 4 unless there are a few expansion packs and patches etc that fix some of the glaring issues.

But is that because of the game or because of wrong expectations? Most complaints are more or less something like "This isn't Civ4!", which lead me to assume that people had the wrong expectations and are disappointed because of that. Ironically it was the same when Civ4 came out.

And most a few people just forked out $50 for a game that in a lot of ways is inferior to Civ 4.
