Love the new patch. Yeah there are some bugs and so forth but you can still see what it is going to be like when polished up and I think it is a big step up from 0.23. Love it.
Going to post some balance suggestions as I come across them.

One, I agree with whoever suggested making the haunted lands primarily beneficial only to the Scions.

Two, the Lanun are massively powerful with the coast city changes if they get any kind of decent coastline to work with. I suggest it needs to be balanced out by making them slightly poorer at working some kinds of land tiles, like the elves getting -1 to farms. Either -1 food to farms, -1 hammer to quarries or, perhaps, both. I would balance this by giving +2 coins to lumbermills since the Lanun would LOVE good forests for shipbuidling. It's not easy finding trees you can use for large masts and keels. I also like things that distinguish the civs in general and changes like this help with flavor. I may tweak this myself for my next game and post how it goes: -1 food from farm, -1 hammer from quarry, +2 coin from lumbermill.

The quarry thing might be too much... perhaps -1 hammer from workshop instead? Would sailor types be better at mining or at engineering in workshops. My feeling is engineering but dunno.

Interesting... it would sure suck to be Lanun in a landlocked situation, but I think your proposal seems small enough to be more balanced but not over nerfed.

The Cornish were both fantastic fishermen and exported mine engineering across the world. Perhaps the bonuses for Castles and Keeps could be reduced instead. The Lanun tend to be quite free-spirited and might not care so much for a disciplined regime.
