While some might say that this may not be the most interesting subject, consider this; Mimicking other languages is very easy. It is extremely easy to use and make new verbs. Why? An example: While english uses the complicated verb "do the dishes", swedish uses "diska". That's right, swedish verbs uses the noun + "a". Some examples of english nouns/verbs that have become swedified verbs:

chatta
sms:a
levla
trada
outsourca

"Do the dishes" is not a verb and it's not complicated. "To do" is the verb and it's very simple.

But in Swedish does "diska" actually mean "do the dishes"? If so, there are examples like that in English too. Basically, like new verbs that are derived from nouns.

But it's interesting nonetheless.

I was watching TV one night and this Swedish movie was on. I didn't know it was Swedish. It sounded like German - I know a bit of German - but I quickly realized it wasn't and I guessed it was Swedish and later found out it was Swedish. Interesting.

German and swedish is related, there many german words that have found their way into the swedish
