Probably the only Ancient Forest change I might be inclined to support would be to reduce/eliminate the AI's seeming ability to see deep into the forests to pick off workers. A greater fog-of-war in that respect would seem reasonable; if in fact the AI does see deeper into the forests. I don't know that they do but the AI does things like ask for cities (in return for a peace treaty) they couldn't have spotted via the usual methods of scouts, map trades, etc. (so the AI does appear to know what it shouldn't although idle merchants may have reported, "Oh, yes, milord, the Ljosalfar dogs have started another city near Arrow's Edge mountain...")
It would be cool (for the Ljos in particular) to have a greater ability to be concealed in woods. Perhaps if only being able to hide their numbers or unit type. But I don't want to go on and on about it...
