Songs dont make me cry, only very touching movies and video game scenes.

Lol, what video game scenes made you cry? The only one that I can think would be a real tear jerker would be FF7. Films make me blub like a baby all the time, but I've never gotten so involved with the plot of a game to care that much. Loads of games made me cry with frustration when I was younger, and the original GTA and postal 2 both made me cry with laughter... but I really can't think of any games that'd bring me to tears through the sadness of the plot.

As far as music goes... theres a few songs that'll do it for me. I used to listen to a lot of classical music when I was younger, and for some reason I'm a sucker for cello solos. As far as popular music goes... sweet child of mine always get me going for some reason. Very gay, I know... but what can I do? Axl just sounds so beautiful!

Either you are ignorant of the fact video games can have engaging plots and storylines, or you just dont play many of them.

Final fantasy games, and many RPGs have storylines that are above par most other video games.

dude, I wasn't having a go... no need to get all defensive!! I wanted to know what games did this to you...... cos they gotta be good to be that engaging! My gaming extends to civ, and the occasional fps when something like half life 2 comes out... so yeah... most of the games I play are pretty thin on the ground plot wise.

Movies move me a lot more than songs. When songs did, it was usually very case-specific, like a break-up or something.

There aren't any songs that make me cry every time I hear them, nor are there any that cause me to burst into tears or otherwise cry heavily. But for quite a few songs (mostly fairly small parts of said songs, actually), a few tears will trickle across my cheeks when I listen to them in the right mindset. Here are some I'm pretty sure of:

Valley of the Queens and Day Twenty: Confrontation, both by Ayreon
A Change of Seasons and The Spirit Carries On, both by Dream Theater
Burning Oasis and A Question of Heaven, both by Iced Earth
III Ways to Epica, Don't You Cry, and Serenade, all by Kamelot
    Eternal Glory, by Rhapsody
Candlelight Fantasia, Accolade II, Through the Looking Glass, and Rediscovery Pt. 2: The New Mythology, all by Symphony X

Without bringing tears to my eyes all the time, Cats in the cradle sang by Johnny Cash always gets to me.

The first time I heard " Ragged Old Flag" by Johnny Cash, I definitely teared up.

Never had a song make me cry. And I just can't understand how a video game could.

The Liverpool fans singing You'll Never Walk Alone. Its wirdly more like a hymn than a song, and it is just spooky to see 50,000 poeple singing like that.

Skip to a min and a half in.

EDIT - Unless they are playing my boys, obviously. Then they are a bunch of scally thieves.
