game order:
soul > denyd > blaze > scratcher > soul....


having had quite a few games end with a SoD ripping out my throat, i have thought it would be nice if one could overcome his natural instincts in the game.

so this will be exactly the opposite.

all victory conditions are allowed (FOR THE AI ONLY!!!)
Humans shall be as peaceful as can be, submitting to an honor code.
HUMANS may win ONLY by a 100K.
seeing as it will not be possible to double the rivals culture points, i suggest we make it a "first human to score 100K" culture)
domination will be ON, so one must take care NOT to win that way.

roster:
soul warrior - persia
blaze injun - inca
DenyD - sumer
scratcher - india


extra players to be discussed, as this will be one VERY LONG GAME.

world settings, continents 70%, etc
we can also make it a smaller world, and lower it to 80 or even 60K wins?
for a quicker game.

barbs - roaming?
AI - all will have either sci or religious attributes.

ToA will naturally be the holy grail. so i suggest we either remove it or mod it.
raise its cost? change it to a 8cpt and one happy citizen in all cities?

towns flipping will naturally be on.

now lets see who will reign supreme!

civs:
human: persia, india, sumer, inca
AI: celt, egypt, russia, japan

world - random generated (Std, 70%, continents)
tweeked for some luxes, iron/horse, food.
placed civs around.
adding a scout to each civ.

This was one of those that I had in mind for down the road, so sign me up. I'll take Sumer if no one else has selected them yet.
 
Another option would be to create a ToA for each tribe (ToA cannot be made a minor wonder, I already tried that) :(
 
You could also have it give a unit (free worker or settler every 5 turns)

The way the editor is setup, major wonders are the only ones that have give world or continent wide happiness or provide a free building.

You could also change ToA to give a free court, market or some other non-culture building.
 
i like that idea, denyd :D

how about i add to ToA:
NO free temple,
1 worker every 5-10 turns (id make it 10) (settlers would be too much, imo)
bump its culture up to 9cpt (to still make it a nice culture boost)
we can also, though i dont think its needful, add a +5% interst bank (to help rush stuff)

i will see what can be done later today.

so far we have:

Soul of ???? im thinking babylon - but that would be overkill.

as AI, i need to have a serious look.
will advise later.
 
I´m interested in this, i could take on the Celts, diplomacy with the AI has any restrictions or is it "abuse all you want...."

I can make offensive war against the AI´s and take them out of the frame?

Is costal blocking allowed :rolleyes: :D?

no starting fights, we will all be first to finish them.
nothing too blatant, but you may trade as much as you want, if you defend, take a few towns, by all means - and by few i mean upto 3-5 max.

all VC are on, but we humans aim to win by 100K (first to get there) with space or diplo a nice second.

In my opinion, The 3-5 towns COULD provide a tremendous advantage to some players. So far, I've always gotten an AI to declare on me by first making them furious with outrageous demands, and then either asking them to leave... or if that fails unsafely trying to steal tech from them... and failing... of course :). I'd guess the adding workers in for pop rushing exploit as disallowed, correct? Even though I don't have any 100k wins, I'd feel tempted by this sort of game, though, if we added the rule that we couldn't attack outside our cultural borders, but, of course, we could bombard as much as we liked. Of the tribes left, I'd pick the Babylonians first, and the Egyptians second. What difficulty level? Accelerated production?
 
Im also interested to play, and I also think the Babs would be too much of an avantage.

I would play as the Indians. Let me know if you want me to play.

Any thoughts to what to do with Statue of Zeus & Knights Templar?

I've been in prior games where SoZ & KT were made minor wonders, SoZ had ivory requirement removed & + 100sh, had SoZ & KT changed to 1 AC/Crusader every 10 turns and a game where AC & Crusaders could be built by all.

Also what's the settings for SGL & Barbarians?
 
Don't know how I missed this one. Ah well. I'll try for the next one.
