Sound Glitch

There were early reports of this when Civ4 was first released. Have you applied the latest patch to version 1.74?

Just got it for the first time - and in Warlords. Sure made me jump!

ya it makes me jump all the time and its happened more then once ive got warlords now and it doesent do that, but a new problem when i go to mehmed II theres a question mark

I definitely still get this in Vanilla with all the Civ patches. (Running 10.4).

i get it to. very uncomfortable. luckily it doesn't happen very often. running vanilla 1.74/ 24" alu imac/ 10.5.2.
