Sound Problems

My computer has just stopped producing any sound. I checked and it's not on mute, when I go to control panel and check, my audio card and speakers are working properly, and I don't have earphones plugged in. Anyone have any ideas on what is happening?

Are you sure your Speakers are proberly plugged into the computer? It migh be that they just failed to connect during startup, it happens all the time with my infared mouse. Just reset your compuer and check all your connections. If that doesn't work I suggest a 9-Iron.

My brother had this problem once - the speakers would show a green light (saying it's on), but no sound comes out. Try restarting your computer - for him, it would randomly work, and randomly not work...however now it works all the time. Odd...

Of corse not, the 9-Iron is the latest advancement in de-bugging technology! rolleyes:)

Reinstall your sound drivers, always works for me.
