After the enjoyment I've gotten from reading the songs which define your relationships I thought I'd do a 'soundtrack to your life' thread.
So, the sound track to your life as it is right now!!!

Mine, despite studying for my finals at the moment, reflects my uni years.
    I-monster - Daydream in Blue

Not just for the lyrics (which are very simple) but the general sound.

As ever, it's got to be Oasis' The Importance of Being Idle

    Linky to video!

Sums up my ideologies (particularly when it comes to creativity) perfectly, and the video even features the sort of suit I want!

Katrina And The Waves - Walkin' On Sunshine

Sure, sucky things happen from time to time, and some days are rough, but anyone who is alive, table, and can get three squares a day, shelter, clothing, etc shouldn't be griping about much as far as quality of life goes. Given the minimum bar just established for a decent life, I am most definitely walking on sunshine most everyday. :D

Hmmm... that's a tough one, an Eve 6 songs seem to work though. The first, aptly titled

    "Good Lives"

    The second by Youth Group

    "Forever Young"

The windmills of your mind by Noel Harrison

You don't know the lyrics? Shame on you.

    Spoiler :
Round, like a circle in a spiral,
Like a wheel within a wheel
    Never ending or beginning
    On an ever spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain
    Or a carnival balloon
    Like a carousel that's turning,
    Running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple
    Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind.

Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of its own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
    In a half-forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
    Someone tosses in a stream
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple
    Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind.

Keys that jingle in your pocket,
Words that jangle in your head
Why did summer go so quickly?
Was it something that you said?
    Lovers walk along the shore
And leave their footprints in the sand
Is the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand?
    Pictures hanging in a hallway
And the fragment of a song
    Half-remembered names and faces,
But to whom do they belong?
When you knew that it was over,
    You were suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the colour of her hair

    A circle in a spiral,
    A wheel within a wheel
    Never ending or beginning
    On an ever spinning reel
    As the images unwind,
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Although the music itself is also wonderful.

    I'll nominate

Tom Petty - Running Down A Dream

And I realize that I've selected two Tom Petty songs for my life's soundtrack, but I'm really not a stoner (although I enjoy playing Mary Jane's Last Dance on harp...)!
