Space Race Alternative?

Are there any modern/current tutorials on creating an alternative to the Space Race victory (graphics screen, movie, etc.)? My mod ends in 2025, well past the moon landing (or Stanley Kubrick "fake" moon landing). So, it seems kind of weird to have the traditional Space Race victory. I see in the downloads sections there is a Mars Base Project, but the download link doesn't work. Mars Mission, Moon Colonization, or even International Space Station might be good alternative. I am just not sure how to go about it.

Just off the top of my head:

@Civinator's CCM rejigs the Space Race victory screen. The late great graphic artist Balthasar at one point made a thread describing how he built a set of (HG Wells') Time Machine victory-graphics -- which @Theov now uses in his mod. And @haluu's Tides of Crimson includes a 10-element 'Ultima Spell' victory.

I made the "Space Race" Victories for Hegemon and EFZI2 and Helped Balthasar with the Time Machine Space Race.
You Replace the Game Graphics and Entries.

I depends a little on what you're doing how how to go about things. I remember having to change a lot in my mod to make the Time Travel thing work perfectly.

My epic mod is complete. I am just doing a couple of test playthroughs. Replacing the space race components screens seems pretty tricky. And since the game is so old, the ending movie. If it was a regular movie file it would be no problem as I have plenty of experience with video editing.

If I do a Mars Mission scenario, I could get away with the ending movie as you need to launch into space for a Mars Mission anyways.
