Space victory Pitboss crash

(I posted in the PBEM group and was advised to go here instead.)

We are playing a huge world, 18 countries, BTS Pitboss game (Zenobia, the oldest still running on civstats.com) and it was tremendously disappointing to see that the Pitboss crashed when the first space ship was launched.

Version of BTS is 3.19.

The player's screen said 10 turns to victory or something like that.
The Pitboss crashed and I was asked if I wanted to send an e-mail
to Microsoft about the problem. One Pitboss screen said
"

When I answered yes or no to Microsoft's question, all Pitboss screens
died.

Is there any fix for this bug?
 
We had this problem in another game where someone tried to launch a spaceship, but we did manage to find a very tricky solution. Look here for some advice on what was done to get around that issue. http://www.tacticalgamer.com/civilization-iv-game-planning-coordination/121382-ptbs-bts-terrible-twos-signups.html Look at pages 17 or around that area for what we did to get around the problem.

Thank you very much, the solution was right on the spot and not very tricky at all.

The settler star ship is still accelerating and will reach A.C nine
years from now.
 
I just thought I'd mention here that bug was fixed in K-Mod a few version ago. (ie. the pitboss server will not crash when a spaceship is launched.)

Also, I've fixed a bunch of OOS problems which can affect some pitboss games.
