Damn. We must build our navy, that is the only way that we can possibly stop Rome. By the way, were those legion 1's or 2's?

:( @ losing the cities, but we would have needed triple the forces on the islands to hold out.
I was contemplating letting them take the cities and then trying to retake them with Elephants, but since they're now using Legionary IIs to land, I decided against it.
What's the roster?

Turn 1 (170 BC): Change Rusadirr to Barracks. Found Sulcis, please make this the last really wasted settler people.

Cat's go 1 for 2 agianst Marsala. War elephant attacks legion 3, kills it while going down to 2/5 health. Next Elephant attacks spear, goes down to 2 health before killing spear. Next elephant kills final spear without a scratch. Marsala taken with 5 gold. Land 8 more units on sicily.

IBT: Roman's counterattack with 2 legions, first attack is killed by Numidian's, promoting to elite, to be 3/5. Second attack kills numidian, Legion at 3/5 on a hill.
Gabes: Elephant > Cavalry
Icosium: Elephany > Settler
Theveste: Galley > Cavalry
Sabratha: Barracks > Cavalry
Egypt starts Great Lib.

Turn 3 (160 BC): New MA with Macedon, Sign peace with Goths. Sign MA with Goths, and buy their world map for 65 gold Capture Syracuse, Sicily is now ours. Lose a galley. Change cirta from Great Library to Aqueduct.

IBT: Romans land legion on sicily.
Cirta: Aqueduct => Heavy Cav.
Mersah Madakh: Settler => Settler.

Turn 4 (155 BC): Kill Roman Legion on sicily.

IBT: Leptis Magna: Cav > Cav.

Turn 5 (150 BC): Kill Egyptian spear. Sell a bunch of improvements that aren't doing anything.

Not much to say about it all, just should we attack Rome or attempt to resettle Sardina and Corsica?

I'm inclined to attack Rome. Resettling those two islands will just tie up a bunch of military units to better defend them.

I'll post more thoughts after I look at the save.
