    I'm messing around with a social policy mod, and everything so far seems to be working except adding culture yield to specialists:

    Code:
    <Policy_SpecialistExtraYields>
          <Row>
    	<PolicyType>POLICY_CIVIL_SOCIETY</PolicyType>
    	<YieldType>YIELD_CULTURE</YieldType>
    	<Yield>1</Yield>
           </Row>
    </Policy_SpecialistExtraYields>
    Did I mistype something or am I trying to do something impossible? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Culture is not built in as a yield, so anything that changes yields can't change culture. There's a few special tags that modify culture specifically (which you've probably seen if you've been looking at the tables for social policies), but unfortunately what you want to do is not possible at this time.

    there really should of been a yield culture available, i see this asked often

    outside of the db, to get this to work would probably require some lua. there's a lot of specialist functions for cities, one of those might let you add culture

    Specialists have a CulturePerTurn tag in their definition, so don't edit the yields for it. Check the artist for an example.

    To be honest, I don't understand why they didn't handle culture as a yield, either. It's used in so many places that using the abstraction would actually have saved work.
