*Last Chance after a misclick!* Get out why you still can those of you who should not be here!
Stratagy
First of all welcome, it's my first time, aside from a game where I won by virtue of the fact that everyone else left, in the world of multiplayer, so I hope this will be quite fun, both for me learning, and for those secretly laughing at my misrable tactics.
Why did I Choose Alexander?
First of all he's agressive, which gives the combat I promotion, something that will come in handy once things start to come together, hopefully enableing me to have some form of staying power when I get attacked.
I'm not quite sure what to expect, will this be more peacefull than what a normal multiplayer game normally is since we have AI's playing too to distract the players, or what? We will see.
What philosophical will hopefully give me is the ability to have ability in peacetime too, the great leaders can help me, if the specialists are started right, something that I have trouble doing right, keep up in tech and in the beginning at least, in economy.
How long will this theory last? That's up in the air. This is very much a first time experience, and as such it should be fun.
Picture Time!
First city:
As far as I can tell, not to shady, the corn and gold should help speed things along, and the marble get wonders if wanted (but how valuable are they in multiplayer, since hammers seem to be at a premium?)
The general plan for the scout right now is to loop around gradually to that hut, and see if we can get anything interesting.
What I should have done for tech is farming, then Mining, but it will only make 3 turns difference after the worker is built.
My city:
I thought about going for another scout first, but that would be 15 turns, so I decided that a worker would be best as a first build to get production and food moving along.
So on to Turn #3:
I start moving the scout, and not only discover another hut, but also meet Cathy, upon which I carefully inform her that we will be getting close soon enough, but not before bronze working. Dear Cathy always seems to be getting angry at me, whether I cosy up or not with her, so we will see what happens this time.
It also turns out the village has decided to honor my goodnes by devoting a small amount of gold to the cause. Should enable us to run at a 100% a little longer. Hopefully the next hut should give something better than just 38 gold.
