Can we reincorporate this into the OT forum? I think the world cup was the only reason it originally got privatised.

    Thoughts if you will?

    :)

Leave it. Anything to keep traffic away from OT and to give people a more specific place to go if they are looking for something is good IMOSHO :)

What does IMOSHO stand for?

OT, OT is busy enough; most sport threads will get buried in it. ;)

I agree with Baleog. It seems like too many people who are in OT just don't look at the "specialized" forums. That also applies to the history forum.

    :D

I think we should nix it. I don't think I've ever even been in there, but that's no surprise. :king:

I think it should stay. I have never been in it, so it is doing a great job of keeping the sports threads off my page. :D

(And Hitro, I, at least, do visit the other "specialized" forums. :) )

It should stay, it took quite a bit of effort to get it in the first place and its not a quite forum at all. There are plenty of other forums with less regular posts and in OT the threads would be lost...

It gets a little trafic, I favor keeping it.
Sports in the OT are usually followed by a bunch of "I love/hate that sport" posts that have nothing to do with the topic, in the sports forum, at least you know someone interested is posting there.

Keep it. I don't want to create a new sports forum everytime there's a Wolrd Cup or Olympics. ;)

Keep the Sports Talk! But perhaps it needs another mod who knows about European Sport?

No it doesn't. Its not that busy, that it needs an extra MOD to control the posting.

Why put it back together? I don't see a reason.
