The firefox add-on is a great option but for me firefox is heavy even clean, but I clogged it with lots of add-ons, so while I'm with the game and SDK open, to fire up firefox isn't that convenient for me.

This tool is standalone and very lightweight (~20mb RAM with Civ5DebugDatabase.db open), has some neat extra tools like exports, a query designer, transactions and even a built-in Lua console (yaaay..) amongst other features.

YES! Thanks Exactly what I was craving for, I've resisted using the Firefox extension for reasons similar to yours

does it let you run only queries you have selected?
i hate the firefox add on because I have to delete everything in the query box evertime I must run a new query.
