Rules*

  • Economy

Your economy is stagnant until you work to help increase it by doing things such as making a trade route, getting an economy point from somebody by diplomatic means, etc. Opening trade routes requires 1 economy point. Per every city you conquer, you get +1 Economy.

    Depression (1)
    Recession (2)
    Poor (3)
    Average (4)
    Good (5)
    Prosperous (6)
    Outsanding (7)

  • Wonders

You can make wonders, though please have them fit into the WWI era. You must say each turn you are building that wonder, or nothing will happen for your wonder that turn.
  • Technology and Education

At every update, I shall say which nations receive a tech (if any). Some nations are more prone to getting a tech than others. Compare Mongolia to various European Powers. Most advancement will be given to the less advanced nations, though it'll be slow going. The more educated a nation is, the more prone they are to discovering a tech. Techs are tradeable.

  • Trade Routes

Cost one economy. Get +1 economy every 3 turns. Maximum three routes per player.
  • War and Diplomacy

Simple. Fight like you normally fight. Diplo like you normally diplo.
  • Education

    Costs one economy to improve.
  • Army/Navy

Costs one economy to increase. I will determine the increase, depending on the size of your nation.
  • UUs

Design a UU and it's specs. Will give you an edge in battle. Post a pic if you like.:)
  • Turn intervals

    Two months per turn.

Combining Allied advances in airframe and engine design, armament, and ordnance, the A-1 is the most modern aircraft available. It is a metal-and-wood-bodied next-generation biplane, which provides it with great stability at low speeds and in dives, although it makes for a rather slow airplane. The two powerful engines provide lots of power to compensate for heavy payloads, armament, and armor. The armor is metal plating (light by modern standards, but more protection than the all-wood biplanes of the day got), and the armament consists of six .50-caliber machine guns mounted on the lower wings, and one 30mm anti-tank cannon in the nose. The ordnance is four underwing bomb racks capable of carrying 250-pound bombs, 250-pound napalm canisters (PATO invents napalm this turn), or extra fuel.

Some Diplo to start things off.

To Great Britan, AZNAC
As we share the same lanaggue culture and Monarch. May I propose an commonwealth which would entail free trade between members and a defensive alliance.

To US
We wish to become an ally and offer you a free trade argeement as well milatry access rights what say you?

From Great Britain and ANZAC
We agree to your proposal.

OOC: Remeber Constantine, that would be 2 of the 3 trade route limit you can have. I'll be posting reminders for the early part of the game.:)

OOC: So there are no updates? You just update stats as we go along? That would be cool... but confusing...
If not, then when is the next update?

And there is no navy? What about transporting troops? Is it done automatically? Please answer the first question ASAP, I would be terribly behind if I have to leave and others do thier orders... :/

:hmm: Don't understand. I only put up the trade routes...Oh! I'm sorry. Premature update! I'll take it down.

Amirsan, I don't see the advantages of AIM over PMing. And as I said before in another thread, AIM doesn't work on my comp for some weird reason.

As for transporting troops, as long as you have a navy, (which you can build), then you can transport troops. I'm not gonna get into complicated x amount are transports and y amount are warships.

GERMANY
Germany had developed after years of industralisation and military growth, the world had remained at peace, no large military conflict in europe had happened since the franco-prussian war of 1870, but now Bismark and his great ability in diplomacy were gone, a new era had started for the second reich!

In Berlin a great architectural and social program started, the German Reichtag, the new throne of power for germanys government, its creation would boost the citys education and economy like never before!

DIPLO-
To Japan:
From Germany:
We wish to start a trade route, is that ok?

To USA:
from Germany:
we wish to start a trade route, is that ok?

To Zululand:
From Germany:
we wish to sign a NAP, is that ok?

ORDERS:
Begin trade w/ nations
Begin Great Project : The Reichtag (+2 economy, +1 education)
Fortify all forces along the zulu border!
begin to "germanize" african holds, treat natives rightfully, open hospitals and schools for them.

EDIT:
japan has accepted to trade along w/ a NAP.
USA has accepted to trade along a NAP
Russia has signed a MPP along w/ trade

OOC: what year is it exactly?

OOC: Look at the bottom left corner of the map.;)

From Japanese Empire
To Germany

We will accept if you sign an MPP or at the very least an NAP that shall last for 12 turns.

Germany:
to Japan:
Well sign a NAP why would we invade our trade partners?!, it would be expensive!
we cannot comit to a MPP, but if you (and our trade) becomes threatened, count on a german sword along your side.

From Japanese Empire
To Germany

The People of the Sun thank you very much!

To Germany
From Austria-Hungary

We, the mighty empire of Austria-Hungary, wishes to extend unto you a Mutual Protection Pact. We are both nations looking to be grand, influential powers, and together our combined armies shall be the strongest on earth! I give you the sword of power beyond both of our wildest imaginations, Kaiser Wilhelm. Do you accept it?

Germany:
to Russia:
Trouble can come faster than any good news, we wish to sign not a NAP, but a MPP. All guns can be weighted the same in the battlefield, but are those that fire agaisnt a common enemy are worth more.

also why not trade

OOC: Please take a look at the post above, stalin. Added a communication for you.

From Russia
To Germany

Hello, Kaiser Wilhelm. An MPP would be a noteworthy endeavor. We will sign if you promise not to side with the Slav-oppressing Austro-Hungarians! The same goes for trade.

To Canada:
Agreed. We would like to open a trade route, and sign both a Mutual Protection Pact and Right of Passage agreement, to provide for the economic and military stability of the North American continent.

To Germany:
We will welcome trade with Germany. Perhaps a NAP, too, is in order?

To Britain:
We wish to open trade with our cousins across the sea, and to sign an MPP and RoP. Perhaps we should form a grand Anglophone alliance with Canada?

Orders:
-Open trade route with Canada. (1c)
-Open trade route with Germany. (1c)
-Open trade route with Britain. (1c)

From Britain
To America

We would perhaps be very interested in such an agreement with our neighbors over the pond, but you must agree with an MPP to all members of the Commonwealth; perhaps even becoming a Commonwealth member yourself!

Germany:
to Austria-Hungary:
We will keep it in mind, but cannot commit this exact moment.

Germany:
to Russia:
Agreed, we will not side w/ the austro-hungarians.
Trade and MPP signed (however we wont be helping you in the imposible scenario of a russo-japanese war as we have signed a NAP w/ them)

To USA:
trade and NAP signed! :D

From Russia
To Germany

Agreed. This is a grand day for all Slavic, Russian, AND German peoples! Huzzah!

OOC:
i will now pay 3 economys for the 3 routes, this means that the americans/japanese/russians will also pay their economy for them to be affected right?

To Britain:
The United States has no interest in joining the Commonwealth. That level of subordination to the British crown is not in our future. However, we would gladly sign an MPP with Canada, ANZAC, and all other Commonwealth states.
