If you have any comments or suggestions for things that should be improved or whatever, please post a reply on this topic. The scenario is available for download in the download section.

I hope you're not <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/angry.gif" border=0>, because I'm really <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/avatar.gif" border=0> at the moment. I'll send it to ya. Should I?

I didn't want to try it until the sounds were ready (thanks for sending them to me) and then I didn't want to comment until I played more of it. But I'll be away to Singapore for the next 10 ten days or so, it'll be a while before I have my comments ready..but rest assured that I will have further to add to this thread.

I have a question, what is the goal of the scenario. Am I to conquer the new quadrant, or is something going to be revealed to me?

The goal in the end is to get the technology to go back where you came from. But ofcourse you can't do that unless you have a strong position in the Quadrant, and you need technologie from other races to get the final tech. How you do that is up to you, conquering or negotiating. There are techs for each civ which give it access to Special Weapons; Omega Weapon, Premonition-class, Jach'Eng-class, Phoenix-class.

Update 1.1 is coming. I found some errors in the techtree and units, and I'm going to make research slower.

I'm making version 2.0, now.
The tech tree is completely redesigned, I just have to put it in the rules.txt. The goal of the scenario is changing, it won't stop after 'Galaxy Jumping' is researched, but it'll end with building a galaxy-jump-spaceship or just conquest. The partisan (Trade Ship) is going to be an Escape Pod, and there are going to be more wonders available.

OK. It'll take a while. You can read why above, and I'm running a chieftain game (gee, that's just too easy), and I'm working on another scenario. All at the same time. It seems I'm beginning to look like John Valdez

Version 2.0 is in its final stage. Just a couple of days and it's finished (my guess is wednesday). I'll try not to forget to send it to you, AofA!

Version 2.0 has a whole new map, a whole new tech tree and a new eventsfile. The tech tree is 'shorter' and it is now impossible to trade ship designs.

I'll be waiting, Willem.

It sounds like it will be excellent.

By the way, I did get the sounds to work and they are good...but the theme didn't play loud enough on my machine for some reason...I could make it louder if you like..did anyone else have that problem?

Well, the music doesn't work on one of my computers. I'd be happy if you would change the sound file for me!
