start help

Hi Wolf,

I don't have civ installed (and a lot of people probably won't bother downloading and starting your game...) so could you post some screenshots?

there should be a print screen button on your keyboard, if you press it the screen capture is copied to the clipboard, you can then run MS paint or another image editing program and paste it and save it to a jpeg file. That is how I do it, at least...

Hi Everybody,

I am still trying to get some screenshots. I apologized for not having mentioned that I am playing on a MacBook.

Cheers,

Wolf

First of all, I wouldn't let my capital stay on size 1, I want to work more tiles to get
my first settlers, workers and units out faster.

I see no military units.
New York has too much overlap with the capital, I would have explored in the west too and
check if there is a food ressource to build a production city with food, hills and the copper
(production is your biggest problem in this start)
Then New York could have been placed 3 tiles east (1 tile west of the corn), a good commerec city
with corn, sheep, horses, floodplain, 2 beavers and 11 riverside tiles.
