Starting a game of BTS

Hi everyone. I've just upgraded to Civ 4 (finally!) with the "Complete pack", and was wondering - if I start a game using Beyond the Sword, does the game include everything from Warlords as well? What if I start from the normal Civ IV screen?

It will include the functionality from Warlords e.g. vassals. If you start the normal Civ IV game then you will only get the game elements from the normal game.
