State of Emergency: War with Persia!

Today, September 24th, a day which will live in infamy, our nation was attacked by the Persian Empire, without provocation. So far no lives have been lost, but our worker near Cruller has been captured and forced into slavery, and Cruller itself faces immediate capture or destruction.

We need to determine now how to handle this dastardly deed.

• Should we abandon Cruller so it cannot be captured?
• Should we approach MIA about an alliance? Are we allowed to do that under the UN rules?
• Do we chase the attacking warrior?
• If they have a train of immortals coming behind this warrior, how do we defend?

The People of Iron hereby officially acknowledge (and rejoice in the fact) that a state of WAR exists between themselves and the People of Iroq. We are brave warriors who came in peace but we were apalled by what we saw. Poor Iroqi women toiling in the mines while the Iroqi men sat around drawing weird shapes in the sand and pretending these shapes were sounds, even while their children live in dwellings made of straw and sticks. Once the Iroqi women saw us we were irresistable to them and they begged to be allowed to come to Iron where they could live in strong houses made of bricks. The men of Iron in Xerxes' war party took pity on the good looking Iroqi women and took them to their bosoms. The not so good looking Iroqi women were made to write down this message and were sent back with it to the men of Iroq. We have but three things to say to the men of Iroq:

1) You should treat your women better.

2) You should not accuse others of breaking rules until you have a code of laws.

3) We are willing to hear what you are willing to offer us to end this war as long as you grovel sufficiently.

Surrender now and pay us a fitting tribute or prepare to be absorbed into the Iron empire.

1. We should abandon Cruller. It is doomed, and it is foolish to allow them to get anything from it.
2. I would'nt chase this warrior if it flees, but if it stays we should destroy it before it can do any more damage.

cant that warrior closest to your city make it in one turn. The road will allow it to make two moves. if not i say a sue for peace. would they be silly enough to declare war with just one warrior. or maybe they are only declaring war because of they spoted a defenseless city.

The road crosses a river, so the warrior cant get there.
Whats the point of involving MIA, they are on a different continent and even if they wanted to help us can not send troops.
The best bet is abandoning cruller and taking it from their. I can send a diplomatic response to their bs, but i wouldn't give them anything give them anything, because they have made their attentions clear.

Do we have horses in our territory? We should begin the production of mounted warriors soon. They will pay for their pride .

Here are my strategies:

1. Controled Expansion - Always send settlers with escorts.
2. Mobilization - Build a little infrastructure, then switch to Mounted Warriors (they are waay better than immortals).
3. Build an SOD of mounted warriors, then attack some unimportant cities. We will not attack their capitol. We will be devastating their lands with our mounted warriors until they beg for peace. Then comes the Treaty of Versailles .
4. They shall pay for this treachery!

We kinda need the tech before we can build MWs, or even see horses. Our non-military tech strategy could be what prompted the attack, given warriors are the absolute best we have right now.

I didn't know we still do not have the Whell and HBR, but we should research them quickly. The MW is a good unit for maneuvering and attacking, better thn the immortal. We only need to destroy their resources and make some attacks on their small cities, but not directly attacking the capitol. This way we can have a cease-fire that will give us time to build our military and strenghten our economy for the war to come.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a fight for survival. If we don't destroy team TNT, we will disappear from this cruel world.

To the barbarians of TNT,

It never ceases to amaze me how men think with other parts of the anatomy instead of their brains. I guess its our fault really, we should have known that the men of your nation had no self control. When we overheard your band of warrior's talking about how sore they were from constantly having to bend over, we should have realised your friendly intentions would quickly disappear when presented with an opportunity. I have no doubt had it been a heard of goats and not our beautiful women you would have abducted them instead. We are saddened by these turn of events as we saw an opportunity to work together for our mutual benefit that would have ensured domination for both our nations, you see this first trade was a test of your trustworthiness before we opened our arms to your nation, you see we are more advanced technologically than your feeble intellect can obviously comprehend, had you joined with us they would have been yours to share as we had planned an alliance with you, no matter the other nations want to join with us so in the end its your loss really. Now one thing i don't understand is this accusation of cheating we were suppose to have made against you, as far as i'm aware, no one from Doughnutia has ever made such a claim, anyhow that is a moot point since you said that we shouldn't make claims unless we have Code of Laws, the thing is donsig, we do have CoL so by your logic we are entitled to accuse you of cheating. I suppose we shall not hear from you again, unless you would like to return our women and leave our territory, but i don't see that happening, then i look forward to seeing you in person when my foot is standing on your head as our great Doughnutian army wipes your cities from the map once and for all. The only thing that will save you is if your people learn how to swim as no mercy will be shown if you continue your barbaric actions.

i say we get peace with TNT ASAP. we get MW, by researching HBR and WC at 100% on the preturn. we build an army of MW, and raze the cities of Persia to the ground. kill Xerxes and bring his head to Springfield for all to see. KILL THE EVIL !@#$%^&s of TNT. we should involve MIA, if they go to war, they would hate TNT, thus ruining relations with them.
