From the desk of the CFM (Chief Foreign Minister):
    • Piffle got Printing Press and is presumably waiting for us to give them education so they can start on Liberalism! – We're still waiting to hear back from them on our proposed tech path.
    • Innovia's warrior is going to slip past our (to be founded next turn) town of Sunrise Citadel – but it's ok, he won't get far before we close borders, and then will be trapped by our expanding borders up North.

    Cities:

Epsilon Eradani: Continues Market. Citizen Switched to Mine, Grows interturn (as the +3 hammers converted to +7) and our science at 60% on lost 2 beakers. Reason Being City just grew and is happyness limit (14) will grow again in 8 turns, by then the Ivory will not be hooked up. Thus we need the market for the extra happy face, so we can keep growing. That said we will have to toggle with the other mine to finish market at the same tiem as city grows. (Chop will help) from here then we can build a University. (and when Ivory is hooked up we can grow 2 more pop points)

Eternal Eye: Continues Theater, Grows interturn, working all food tiles.

    Immortal Keep: Begins Cho-Ku-Nu
    Spoiler :

Port of Mists: Continues Theater, Build queue set to Workboat (for Icy), Worker (for Cottages locally) workboat (for Icy)

Sunset Fortress Continues Theater, this will be whipped ASAP as there are only 3 usefull tiles for this city at the moment. Library added to Build Queue for science (remember we have 2 gems) as well as culture so we can get another border expansion. This Library can be worked in with Workers / Settler

Point Defiance Continues Workboat #2, suggested build: Granary, Forge, Workboat #3, Library, University

Mighty Bulwark Continues Theater, Then will be Granary, then Forge, then Workers & Settlers (this is a production city)
    Spoiler :

From the desk of the CFM (Chief Foreign Minister):
    • Our massive deal with Piffle is really starting to pay off… it doesn't look like there's any way possible for the other teams to stop our Liberalism bid with Piffle now.
    • Just open borders without unit privileges with Aloha is a bit disappointing, but maybe we'll get lucky with a religion spread… you never know.
    • Innovia dumping Bureaucracy for Vassalage is an interesting move! I'd guess that they're a little nervous about our rising power score, and want some extra XP to help them feel safe… or else they've got a serious barbarian problem, and are just taking full advantage of their spiritual trait.
    • Sorry this update was so late. Been a crazy week.

    Military

Impending DoomMoves Towards Sunrise Is now Inside cultural Borders

    Road Guard Fortifies

Sunrise Safety: Moves Towards Sunrise. Should he continue on through afterwards to Explorer that South Easten Coast? (Or should we send the Axeman?)

Point Lookout: Moves NW N Towards Point Defiance (where else should he go? My reasoning was that Loco will be comming by with a Galley soon and I wanted to give them the impression that we were stacked!)

Viking Convert Galley, Moves NW W to pick up some workers. Next turn he wil Move W the workers will jump on and then move E.

    -------------------------------------------------------------
    Workers:
Peter Grimes Moves S SW onto the Plains Hill.

Fe3333au Continues Cottage, Plans include moving onto the forest (SE) to chop it, to time the Market Finishing with the Growth of the Capital. and then build a cottage. After this he is out of Orders. (8 Turns)

General_W Moves NE and chops jungle for las turn then will board the boat. Which is more important Ivory or Pork?

Lost Civantares Moves NE chops for 1 turn, then cancells action. Will join the General on the Boat.

Classic Hero Continues Mine. Will he road after?

Azaman333 Moves S S Starts Farm. then will mvoe S and start another farm (Tied up for 14 more turns)

    --------------------------------------------------------------
    Cities:

Epsilon Eradani: Continues Market. New Citizen Placed onto Cottage. I realize this was disobeying orders... But I have some numbers of a simulation I ran to look at. (Basically it surmurizes to that if we work both mines then the city growth is stalled, which we don't want as it can grow 3 more times with the resources comming online right away, and because there is an academy we need our cottages to grow ASAP.) As for the market getting completed faster, if we work the mine it gets done 2 turns earlier, which will be made up from the chop anyways ;) )

Eternal Eye: Continues Theater, The theater can now be whipped. Do we want to do this? (and build a market while waiting for the Globe Theater to become available?)

Immortal Keep: Completes 1st Chok. Build Another? Macemen?

Port of Mists: Finishes Theater Interturn. Build Queue Changed to Worker First then Workboat for Icy. (Because if we did the boat first the borders won't have expanded in time to use it and thus wasted turns)

Sunset Fortress Continues Theater, Can be whipped next turn. It will also grow next turn to size 3 again, and will eb using all useful Tiles. Do we want to build a Library? Settler? Worker?

    Point Defiance Continues Workboat

Mighty Bulwark Continues Theater (this will be the last of the 6 Required.)

    Sunrise Citadel Continues Granary

    Icy Redoubt Continues Granary

From the desk of the CFM (Chief Foreign Minister):
    • Huge update with lots of catching up to do!
    • Added trade route analysis and trading options for each civ.
    • I’m happy to see that there’s been no quick trade of guilds for paper between Innovia and Aloha… although now that Innovia also has HBR, they have great potential for a trade, we’ll have to see what develops.
    • Epsilon now has the most cities in the world! And it would appear we’ll circumnavigate the globe next turn! Hooray! That’ll make our invasion of Loco just that much easier.
    • Please read the discussion going on of what to do about our Open Borders deal with Innovia in their Embassy thread, we have to make a decision on that by next turn.

    Turn 147 740 A.D.

save is up. Sorry it was after I pressed enter confused.

In any event Sorry this is a bit late RL gets in the way sometimes...and I have alot of explaining to do (seeing as I pretty much ignored every "unofficial" order this turn :mischief:

    --------------------------------------------------------------
    Military

Mysterious Margay (Axeman): Moves SW To explore Down Yander

Viking Convert Moves N N to move back into Position Near Sunrise for Immediate Reinforments if Neccesary. (after next turn Gallileo Can come back and explore the eastern Shore with enhanced 4 movement per tile)

Unnamed Chok Headed Towards Holy City, Does not Change path (as per unofficial order) Since the Innovia Warrior could already see him. Also note that 3/4 teams can already see we have iron now.

    -------------------------------------------------------------
    Workers:
Peter Grimes Completes Mine for IK will move SE and start farm next turn.

Fe3333au continues chopping wood for a market

General_W Moves SW and starts Road (disobeyed unofficial order will be explaiend below)

Lost Civantares Moves SW, SE ontop of the Ivory (obeyed unoffical order, will road next turn. The following Turn the General Will move after the road is done saving 1 worker turn)

Classic Hero Moves SW ontop of Jungle. The Jungle to The SE would be the fastest to chop but the only improvement right now for there is a workshop which would effectively be at this point +1 :food: + 2 :hammers: which is brutal. SW he Can chop and Put a Watermill which is also weak at this point. +2 :food: + 1 :hammers:. I Still think a Road to Argyle's is the best bet, as if we hook up another gem we might be able to trade for dye to Aloha. (assuming Loco accepts) The Dye will next us +2 :) in 5 cities (with the theater). However if the order is posted to Only build watermills for MB then I will have to figure out the maximization plan so none of them go on the worng side of a river. (if this confuses anyone please ask)

    Azaman333 Continues Farm.

New Worker Continues Cottage (BTW what is his name?)

    --------------------------------------------------------------
    Other Units:

Magellan Moves NW NW NW 1 Tile from Circumnavigation

Western FriendCruises to the Barb at the Hut

    Columbus Moves along the Ice

Eastern Friend North East / West maximizing his movement
    --------------------------------------------------------------
    Cities:

    Epsilon Eradani: Continues Market.

Eternal Eye: Overflow hammers applied to Globe (unoffical Orders followed) Next turn will switch back to Worker and Whip for another +60 :hammers: (nicely timed Dave) overflow will be applied to Globe. Yippe another Worker , I suggest this worker head over to MB to help out Classic Hero, for Argyle's and MB itself.

    Immortal Keep: Continues Worker

Port of Mists: Change to Workboat. Will finish in 3 turns, the same time we grow. Then adjust :hammers: for +8 the turn after(68/100), allowing us the following turn (5 turns out) to :whipped: for +60 :hammers: (follow that?)

Sunset Fortress Changed to Workboat. At size 4 will switch back to Settler. Use 2 Pop for :whipped: netting 90 :hammers: (bad rounding at 2 pop See Dave's post in the main thread) the overflow which will then complete the Workboat which will sail To argyl'e and meet the settler (if that worker ,classic_hero, build roads. If he doesn't the boat will get there first)

Point Defiance Granary started. Will Whip ASAP then Forge, To Whip. Granary first then forges. (population comes back faster and is worth more thant +25% bonus at this stage)

Mighty Bulwark Granary continues (disobeying unoffical orders) Forge will come after. The only citizen was switched to the Mined copper for +1 :food: +5 :hammers:. This gave us 18/60 Hammers for the Granary. After 2 more turns at +6 :hammers: a turn we will be at 30/60 exactly enough to whip for 1 pop (remeber no fancy numbers yet as there is no forge) this will drop us back down to 1 pop. Once we hit 2 pop again it will be time to whip the forge. (This is why Classi Hero can build the Route and then Hook up the Gems)

    Sunrise Citadel Continues Granary

    Icy Redoubt Continues Granary

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

From the desk of the CFM (Chief Foreign Minister):
    • The apparent trade of Innovia's HBR & Philosophy for Aloha's Paper is pretty unbalanced in Aloha's favor. Either Aloha convinced Innovia that Philosophy was a worthless tech (as they tried to tell us) – or else maybe Aloha got HBR on their own, and the trade was just Paper for Philosophy? (also, just noticed that Innovia got Theology… but I'm not sure if this happened this turn, or earlier and I missed it. Will double check later when I get time.)
    • I can't imagine how anyone could have beat us to Circumnavigation, we're still the only team with Caravels. So I expect we'll get the notice and bonus movement point next turn. Go team!

    All the numbers:

From the desk of the CFM (Chief Foreign Minister):
    • Confirmed that last turn Innovia gave HBR & Philosophy for Aloha's Paper & Theology.
    • If anyone has any good guesses on who birthed Saint Hanno, I’d be interested to hear it – but I suspect we’ll see a religious shrine founded soon. If not, we’ll know it was Innovia – they are the only civ (besides us) that doesn’t have a religion in need of a shrine.
    • We’ve getting very close to having the alliance formalized with Piffle – if you haven’t been following the final discussions, now’s the time to jump in! This alliance will completely dominate our foreign policy for the rest of the game. And I must say, I’m very pleased to have us in the diplomatic situation we’re in… If the power graph is to be believed at all, we’ve managed to ally with the 3rd most powerful civ and are prepared to launch war against the 4th and 5th most powerful (with us getting the easier target) and then a joint wipe out of the #2 civ. Couldn’t really be any better positioning for an eventual Epsilon win, imho. :D

    • We're now just waiting for a formal signature on the Alliance "stone tablets" I sent to Piffle.
    • Finally got Guilds from Loco – a bit faster than I was hoping, in fact. Their gpt didn't rise as dramatically as I expected, but I think they must still be in "wait and see" mode with Piffle over getting another trade. Hopefully Piffle holds to the Alliance at this first challenge.
    • Innovia's steep rise in power is a bit of a concern… I wonder if they're planning on invading someone? I mean, they DO have their scary Camel Archers now… and if they haven't found their Iron – they may be thinking NO one has it… since they can't see that we've got it.
