    Couple Of notes:
    1. We didn't switch to Merchantilism this turn for 2 main reason.
    A. Piffle discovered Astronomy, and will probably gift it to us next turn, so I wanted them to see we had horseback riding to gift to them. This was only possible if we didn't revolt.
    B. I wanted our Great Person to be born. As it turns out it was a great Scientist :clap:
    Other reasons:
    We got 2 border expansions and 1 worker out. Aquiring Astronomy Might give us much better trade routes. Maybe we don't want to revolt?

    None the less next turn we will switch bar any strong objections.

    • It's sad to watch Innovia just burn the great wonders of Loco… We would have taken MUCH better care of them!
    • I find it interesting that Innovia decided to get Compass and Optics, rather than work with Aloha on getting to Cavalry faster. Optics will help them screen for our eventual naval invasion – but it still seems like it'd be way better to have cavalry. An interesting choice by them.
    • Where were the Great Scientists born? We can rule out Piffle (who just birthed Euclid and apparently used it to get Astronomy). Any theories? Peter or Dave McW?

    • Gotta apologize for the big delays in these updates. Work has been CRAZY this week, so I haven't had any of my normal breaks to work on updates.
    • I still can't figure out this alliance between Innovia and Aloha. Apparently it's mostly technological… as they are pretty freely sharing techs (but not banking!) – but Aloha is still trading resources with Loco while Innovia is at war with them… that can't make Innovia too happy. Very odd relationship.
