Stealth Bomber vs. Fighter

Could someone explain what, if any, advantages the stealth fighter has over the stealth bomber (besides costing less)? Seems odd they'd make 2 units become available with the same tech, but one would completely outclass the other.

When bombing weak or redlined units, the Stealth Fighter does more damaged compared to its shield cost. That's about it.

Bomber is much better than stealth bomber. More bombard power and rate of fire making it very deadly especially since it has leathal bombard.
