Steam claiming unlock on the 24th

I don't mean to alarm anyone but when I go to the steam store page for civilization 5 it tells me it will be available and unlocked on the 24th of september, 3 days and 0 hours from now.

Since civilisation in general is run through steam does this mean all copies can not be unlocked until that time?

Does anyone else see this on the steam store other than me?

apologies if this has already been posted, I just woke up and saw it with great suprise.

nvm, it seems this is just a regional thing to bring it into line with release dates here.

September 21st is the North America release date, September 24th is the international release date.

Can we please get some clarification on this? I took a half day tomorrow just to play this. Surely this is a mistake considering the 21st has been the release date forever.

NA unlocks in 15 hours, everywhere else doesn;t unlock till the 24th. sorry
