Steam cloud save broken.

I saved my game to the Steam cloud, but it doesn't show up for my other computer. This computer finds it fine, but I need to test the file on my other system to make sure the bug are still there and not just me before I post them.

My other system just shows no saves at all of any kind.

On a single computer, steam cloud saves seem to be working, but my local saving has its problems.

The other thread seems to have steam cloud working, but corrupted. I have good saves, but steam cloud shows nothing for other computers.

In fact, I can copy my saves to my USB memory stick put them on my other machine in my documents forlder for civ v and they load just fine. I'd be nice for steam cloud to work for me thought. much easier to debug with.

This seems to happen when Steam doesn't finish synchronizing.

There should really be a warning before it shuts down that Steam hasn't finished doing what it needs to do.

Glad yous is working, but I still got nothing. Not 1 save shows up and I now have 4 saves.

Go back to the computer you made the Steam cloud save from and it should re-sync.

I have been for each save. 4 times total. Is there something you do when you return to the other computer (computer with steam save).

Just make sure Steam is online and it should sync automatically.

Hi, I had the same problem before I realized that ...

Apparently Steam syncronizes when it exits, so NOT when you save on Steam Cloud ingame nor when exiting Civilization V.

When you didn't manually exit Steam before shutting down your pc, usually the service doesn't have the time to syncronize your saves to the Steam Cloud servers.

Now it works like a charm

oops, I forgot to update that I found the problem. I had disabled steam cloud probably when I bought Company of Heroes Gold a while back.

Now steam cloud works fine. well other than only 10 saves and not being able to name saves myself.
