I admit that our amount of analysis is out of proportion to the rate of information on Civ 5 coming in. It's probably a giant mood swing for some of us leading up to the release: "Oh no! Is the game going to be any good? Ok phew, it is ".

I think this is actually a very good point though. Any of us who are on here constantly reading and posting are obviously far too interested in Civ V to not buy it or at least try the demo. Otherwise why would we even spend so much time on a forum about it.
