Anyone else played this? Yesterday, this game was on steam sale for 10$ so I decided to buy it. Basically it sets you in the near future with the world in economic collapse due to a failing oil supply. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, you can only play in Europe
I am enjoying it myself. The skirmish mode alone was worth ten bucks and I haven't even decided to dive into the campaign yet. The game is like a cross between Supreme Ruler, Civ5, and Total War. The skirmish mode (In the campaign the game will zoom into this when you enter a battle) in the game feels like Civ5 combat except with competent AI and the campaign mode itself seems to be very complex and in depth.
My only real gripe with the game is the lack of a good tutorial. There are just several pixelated, soundless videos with subtitles on them, as a result so far my campaign experience consists of being conquered by Latvia. The other problem with Frontline Nation is the lack any realistic AI when it comes to diplomacy. They seem to accept request at random (if just keep spamming them with the same request they eventually except) and they are way aggresive (in the first three turns of my campaign three nations were eliminated.

I believe it is a Steamworks game by the way.
